Holiday Inn Express and Suites are always consistent in our experience! The sweet lady in the kitchen was precious! I saw her in action and observed her talking to those that were guests. SHE IS A JEWEL! I wish I could remember her name! She was an angel here on earth and should be rewarded for her great, kind service! October 10, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not great service It started before we even arrived for our stay. I called early in the day to see how soon our room would be ready to check in. The manager had the incorrect check in day. I was told it was corrected and he gave me an approximate check in time. When we arrived the same manager was on duty and again tried to say he had us checking in the day before. Again he said it was corrected. At check out there was a different manager on duty and not only did they charge us for the 1 night I booked but for the night they say we "no showed". We explained what had happened the day before but the 1st manager had made no notes in the computer. After trying to call that manager only to get voice mail said that is what we owed. My husband who travels a lot voiced his distaste at the situation and the current manager with much unpleasantness took the 1 night off and gave us the final bill which was correct. When I got home and looked at our bank statement there were 2 pending charges both for 2 nights. After 4 calls to the hotel in the next 2 days, the original manager NEVER called to help with the incorrect billing. I had to call the bank and put holds on those charges until it could get straightened out . Finally I called again and spoke with an employee who talked with my bank on a 3 way call and explained the situation. He was very friendly and fixed the problem in a matter of 30 min. The original manager NEVER did call. October 8, 2014

Management is engaged and involved Ownership is starting to resource needed maintenance and capital improvements. This should be done regularly to maintain the awesome facility the staff works so hard to keep as the premier hotel in Royse City. - internet speed and reliability is a known problem the management works hard to keep going. It's CLEAN, inside and out...rooms are well appointed and inviting. I eat breakfast ever morning before I leave and am never disappointed. This was my 4th stay and even though my work is in Dallas, I choose to stay here and do not mind the drive. Highly recommend Royse City! August 27, 2014

They were so welcoming and willing to help with any and all requests of my large family. I have been to many hotels and never even met directors or managers and only met staff by name tags, but this hotel made kind conversation and gestures and made me feel a part of the hotel family. I pray that Holiday Inn Express keeps and promotes Sherrie Lynn and all staff because they all showed genuine customer service and welcoming hearts. This is truly a home away from home!! Also for the room experience: The rooms are large and extremely clean and the hotel decor is beautiful and the climate control is awesome and the beds, linens, pillows make you never want to leave and the bathrooms are extravagant. I am glad that Holiday Inn Select has you on board. There needs to be raises for this staff and managers. You have gone above and beyond your job title. The cleaning staff and cafeteria staff are all loving and kind. They made sure that my family had more than enough to make our stay at Holiday Inn exceptional. I will recommend this property to everyone I know and come across. I hope that all Holiday Inn Selects have staff like the ones at this location. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nightmare We had to get ready for a wedding. Check in was at 3pm there were not any rooms ready. We were finally able to get into our suite at approximately 4:30. Spoke with manager the next morning and he seemed unconcerned about the inconvenience that was caused. Then when we went to breakfast we all wanted pancakes but it was not working and the manager did not seem to concern himself with that either. I do not blame the rest of the staff. They tried and really seemed to care but the manager seemed apathetic to all inconveniences. June 27, 2014
