I had stayed at 3 other Holiday Inns over the 2013 holidays in Texas, Colorado and Kansas so I was little disappointed by the staff's attitude. One of the big problems too was the Miss Texarkana contestants were swarming the lobby and breakfast area so regular guests could not move about the first floor of the hotel very well. When it came time to check out, there were none of the carts available. Several of the guests were needing them; not only me. In fact, the contestants outfits were hanging on at least one of them. If I'm back in Texarkana again, I will probably check the Hampton Inn out first. Nice place, clean room, good breakfast, but poor customer service.

Comfortable bed and quite. Decent hot breakfast with some fruit choices. Not a great picture on the TV in the room we had but that was no big deal. Being close to I-30 was nice. Overall, it was a good place to stay for a night before getting back on the road the next day, and I would stay there again when traveling in the area.

This is one if the best Holiday Inn I have stayed in. It is located in the parking lot of a gaint shopping mall. Great eating places within walking distance like Outback and Olive Garden and others. Room were clean. Beds were up-to-date and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. If you were in a hurry there were bisket , egg, cheese, and sausage to go. May be my favorite place Even had an exercise room.

With finals and a 9 hour drive behind us, all we wanted to do is settle in for a long winter's nap. My mom swears by Holiday Inns and books a room as we travel back and forth to school. We enjoy the accommodations including a great free breakfast. Thanks for another great stay.

I stayed for 5 nights when my daughter was having her baby. The staff was wonderful, helpful and a joy to be with. The room was spacious, and the convenience is everything I expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Thanks to all!

For anyone on a restricted diet (low carb/diabetic), this breakfast is a disaster. There were no eggs, no bacon, and no choices that did not include a whole lot of carbs. I was very disappointed, and had to return to our room without eating.

I stay at this property frequently and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast bar is amply stocked with a variety of choices. Very nice place, I highly recommend a stop in Texarkana at this property.

We like Holiday Inn Express motels and this one was excellent.
We left a clothes bag in the room and the staff contacted us and mailed the bag to us the day we got home and in touch with them.

My son had lost his drivers license and credit card and so I called into the hotel and spoke with Asia and she was SO helpful and kind to me. We were able to make arrangements through a credit card authorization form. She even let me email her the documentation through her own personal email address to streamline the process. Lindsey, Asia and many others made this very stressful time for my son extremely easy. As a result it allowed me the mother to feel more at ease and reassured that everything was taken care of. thanks to everyone who assisted, you were wonderful!

I stayed at this hotel every other week for about 3 months. I enjoyed that they rewarded IHG members with 2 free water and a snack. Also the suite was huge, clean, and quiet.

Our recent stay was only one night but, we had an enjoyable stay. Rooms were very nice and staff was excellent. The only negative for me is that pets are not welcome. We rarely travel without our dog and it's a deal breaker for us with a hotel chain that does not accept pets,

My wife and I recently traveled to Texarkana to attend a funeral in a nearby Arkansas town. We found the breakfast to be an ideal mix of healthy choices and not so healthy choices. The king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pleasingly clean. We were unable to use any of the hotel's other amenities, but we did notice that there were several big name restaurants and a mall within walking distance. We found the staff helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay there again if our travels find us in Texarkana again.

Thank you for making this one of the best stays my family has ever had at a Holiday Inn. Every staff member we encountered went out of there way to say hi and to see if we needed anything. The lady who was in charge of the breakfast while we were there is very special and you should be proud to have her as your employee.

As I walked into the room, the first thing I noticed were the high ceilings and the showerhead was set high which was wonderful for my husband who is a tall man. The only negative was we got lost going to a restaurant. The way the streets are laid out is a bit confusing.

I love this hotel and stay there frequently,a couple nice restaurants within walking distance and the property itself is very nice and the staff friendly and attentive. The IHG Rewards program just is not worth the hassle. I have never been able to get credit for stays at their properties without heavy lifting from the front desk folks when I check in. The IHG website is completely dysfunctional and all attempts to contact them are met with an email a day later stating "We are currently experiencing higher email volume than usual. Please expect delays to our responses which may take up to 2-3 days" followed by up to three weeks of silence, at which point you get a promise to fix your problem, and yet the problem does not get fixed. Your reward for the hassle appears at best to be a bottle of water from the hotel when you check and perhaps a USA Today newspaper. Frankly, I do not see the value. But again I really enjoying stopping at this particular property.

Our stay there was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. But the pool looked as if it could have used a little more clorine as the sides were starting to turn a little green. Most pools you can usually smell a little of the clorine. This pool didn't seem like it had any at all. It was still swimmable though. The other suggestion is maybe a pillow top on some of the beds. The kind that can be strapped to the corners. The beds were a little to hard. After two nights, my back and kidneys were hurting. Otherwise the stay was great and we enjoyed your hospitality.
