Room was very clean and up to date. Bathroom was equally clean as the room. It was nice to have a microwave, sink, and refrigerator available.

I always stay at this hotel when I am in the area. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I feel welcome and at home the minute I walk in the front door. I know that the rooms will always be clean and comfortable and the breakfast and all day coffee service are great.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cruisehounds Water went off in the middle of a shower
While we have stayed here many times before and found the facility excellent, we cannot in good conscience say the same this time. Furniture was dusty, the refrigerator was not cold, both telephones were broken, and lastly the water went off while my husband was taking a shower. He was completely covered with soap and he contemplated leaving the room in just a towel to jump in the outside pool to rinse off as we were leaving soon for our cruise. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. After some time, the water came back on. I complained to the front desk lady, who said the Manager would be informed and get back to me. I've heard nothing since. Shocking because this is otherwise a choice hotel. Staying at a hotel the night before our cruise out of Galveston has become an anticipated joyful experience. This time it was a disaster in room 418

Coffee was hot and ready. Eggs were the same style for all 6 days, gravy was inconsistent and mostly no flavor. Breakfast was cold every day.

I was visiting the NASA Area and the Galveston Area, this hotel is 15 minutes away from both places. There are also several Outlet Stores close to the Hotel. Plenty parking, security cameras, a lot of restaurants. Great food during breakfast. The staff were very attentive. In short I felt like a King. I'll come back soon to the same Hotel.

The manager made it a point to make sure we were happy with our rooms and apologized for not being able to upgrade us to suites because of the full occupancy and our late reservation. Very professional and friendly. Made us feel very welcome and appreciated.

Our families came together for a special family reunion and our stay was wonderful.
To us it felt like "a home away from home".
We have already made reservations for next year.

Plus side= Hotel was very clean, Maid service was excellent!
Bad Side= No pool towels provided. You have to use your room towels and front desk gets upset when you ask for more towels.
Breakfast was missing items that other Holiday Inn Express's have (greek yogurt, oatmeal cups, red berries cereal, etc) Also there is no breakfast attendent.
