Had great room, nice and dark. Bed wonderful. Location great...many restaurants for evening meals, shopping, etc. Lots of outlets for charging phones etc...and I didn't have to HUNT for them! That was great!

This is a wonderful hotel, just needs some sprucing up. Pool needs to be cleaned more often and plants around the pool need to be weeded and replanted with new ones.

Stayed for two nights on business. The staff was friendly, room was clean, great breakfast and the shower head was incredible! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our three day stay and Close to everything we needed. Very very clean rooms, great breakfast, and most of all, all the employees were wonderful to us which made for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was fine. We went out the next morning and came back to the room about noon. The cushions on the chair were up and wet. The desk chair was wet and so was the carpeting. I called the front desk and they transferred me to the manager. Apparently the hotel was having the carpets and furniture cleaned and was even doing this in the occupied room. It was supposed to be dried in 15 minutes but it was far to wet for this. We were supposed to get a notice went we checked in but didn't. The manager tried to explain this to me. I explained that we couldn't sit on the chairs or walk on the floor without shoes on because of everything being so wet. My leather brief case was on the wet floor, my duffle bag and my husband's brief case. The did give us another room, which had been done that morning and the furniture and floor were still wet. So we were moved again to a room that had been done the day before They didn't charge for the second night. Apparently they do this every 6 months. Poor planning and poor execution. The hotel wasn't half full so they could have easily done this in two days without inconveniencing their guests. We were horrified that we had been broken into. It was a very bad experience. This was at the end of 4 days of traveling 1800 miles and moving all of our furnishings and belongings. They also didn't ask for my membership card at check in.

usually a hotel stay is relaxing. WhenI went home I had to sleep an extra day to get caught up because sleep was poor at this hotel
service and staff were poor and very unfriendly. they do not go out of thereway or care. when asked for coffee in the lobby, they would just say sorry the pot is empty. so much for 24x7 coffee available in lobby. pillows weretoo soft. snacks from previous guest stay were left in the room kitchen drawers.

I stayed at The Holiday Inn Express on a business trip and was very pleased with the location and the friendly staff. I was also very pleased with the breakfast that was included, it was much better than I had expected and they keep it open until 10:00am.
Unfortunately, my bed wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped and my air conditioning unit was a little loud, although it did keep the room cool.

The location is great and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms need to be updated, especially the shower area. There is also no storage in the bathroom for personal toiletries.

The lady attending the Breakfast area was very attentive to the area, keeping it clean and well stocked of all items presented. The food was not only appetizing in appearance it was well prepared. My compliments to her.
From the Breakfast lady to the Desk Staff all were very professional yet personality appealing as well. Their personal grooming to include the Breakfast Lady as well as the House Keeping lady I met were also very well groomed considering their duties. This gave me the impression that the food was prepared in a very clean enviornment and the rooms were attended to in such a manner that they felt clean and neat as well as looked the same.
Thank you for a nice 2 night stay.

I am so happy to see you using full size pillows again, I hated the little things you had for a few years.
Also enjoyed my breakfast looking out over the pool with the flowers blooming.

The guest bathroom needs a lot HELP the lobby has a dirty ice cream freezer in it that is half full along with a chip rack that is older than the hotel. They also have some sort of advertising in there breakfast bar concerning land for sale TACKY at best

I went to the area to meet an old friend that I had not seen in 32 years. I was unable to locate The Villages on my GPS so I called the hotel. I told them I was a late arrival and need help locating the hotel. The lady that answered the phone was very friendly and extremely helpful. She told me how to find it on my GPS.
When I arrived I was greeted with a big smile and fast service. I asked for a late departure and she made a note in the system without complaint.
The front desk staff were always friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff were the same.
I will be going back to the area soon and will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

My visit was during the first business trip I took for my newly created business, Wagman Aerials. The inherent stress associated with such a trip was certainly minimized by having a relaxing place to decompress during the trip.
The Inn was clean, orderly, and well maintained. The staf was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
I feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone.

WE ARE ELDERLY AND STAYED IN A HANDICAP ROOM, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE, AS IT HAD MANY GREAT FEATURES, SUCH AS SEAT IN THE WALK-IN SHOWER, ALSO A RAISED TOILET SEAT, WHICH I NEVER KNEW EXISTED....THEY EVEN GAVE ME INFORMATION ON WHERE WE COULD PURCHASE THEM, WHICH I HAVE. THEIR BREKFAST IS JUST GREAAT AND EVERYONE IS VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL.

The guest room suffered from low lighting both in the sleeping room and the bathroom. Removing lamp shades didn't help when trying to see to put on makeup and get dressed.
Housekeeping failed to come twice to service our room during our 18-day stay and failed to clean the bathroom an additional day. Front desk employees were quick to supply towels when called upon our return to the room at night.
Jennifer at the front desk was extremely helpful when extending our reservation from 10 days to 18 at the last minute.

This is my third visit to this Holiday Inn Express. The GM David is very kind and hospitable. I stayed with family and children and we all enjoyed our stay. Fitness center and pool are small but it worked.

The suite was excellent ... just what we had wanted. Check in was a little off simply because there were 16 members in our group, and we had 8 rooms. Even though I made the reservations, some of our group were allowed to check in early because they arrived prior to us. Allowing them to check in early caused problems with the remainder of us in terms of room selection. Because we were all bowling together, we requested that our rooms all be on the same floor. This did not happen. We had a 95 year old bowler that we needed to be in a room near one of the younger bowlers, and it didn't happen that way. I'm sure it was because some of us had been allowed to check in early. When one person makes multiple reservations for a group, it would be best if none of the group were allowed to check in prior to the one who made the reservations, unless prior instructions are given.

We provide 14 rooms for guest at my daughter's wedding, and it went perfectly. Everyone was very pleased with the rooms, the breakfast and the service. The manager, David did an outstanding job keeping everything in line. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express.

I have visited the Villages several times looking for a home. Each time I chose Holiday Inn express as they were value priced, near one of the centers, and easy to get to. Hotel takes pride in its cleanliness and hospitality--no one does it better. Add in a value price and it was and continues to be a winning combination. Room was large and was satisfactory in every aspect. Breakfast was OK but had the same things every day....long about the 5th day began to look for something a wee bit different. Overall, a 5 star experience.

I slept extremely well and found the room very comfortable and the service excellent. The food for breakfast was abundant and varied to meet anyone's tastes. I loved the automatic pancake maker! The breakfast gave me a great jump start for the day!

This was our first time staying in the Villages. We found the Holiday Inn very convenient to the area we were visiting.
The accommodations were very good and the free breakfast excellent.
The directions were good and the hotel easy to find.
We found the rate to be the best in the area.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a room in the area.
