Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst hotel I have ever encountered in 50 years This hotel is terrible. I prepaid a reservation for seven days online. When I arrived at the hotel. The employees were sitting outside the front door smoking and some wearing tee shirts. Upon entering the hotel you could smell a musty odor like mold or mildew. I proceeded to check-in and was given the key to room 203. When we entered the elevator we were astonished to find filty stained carpets. On the second floor we again smelled a strong musty smell in the hallway and upon entering the room. In the bathroom the bathtub was leaking. We both were concerned about the poor condition of the hotel and assigned room we decided not to check-in. I approached the desk manager and explained why we would not stay there and requested a refund for the 7 days we had prepaid online. The manager refused a refund and said there was nothing he could do. We left without a refund and had to look for other accommodations. We will never stay there again!!! This place does not rate one star. October 4, 2015

The bedding was clean, towels, and overall appearance. Holiday Inn Express will be our place to stay each time we visit family near the villages. September 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Close to Fun Town Square We enjoyed our stay. The desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. She told us about the Spanish Springs town square and the music on the square every night. It was a very short walk to the square and we enjoyed listening and watching the dancing. The room was clean and comfortable. And we, as bikers, enjoyed the trails and bike lanes in the Villages. September 28, 2015

(I need the constant sound for a good nights sleep.) The location was convenient to many restaurants and shops. September 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good value. Great experience. The fitness area could use an eliptical and stair stepper. I have nothing to complain about and will consider Holiday Inn Express as I travel. Perhaps having eggs that can be used to make an egg/sausage/cheese muffin would be a good consideration. September 26, 2015

They always seem to have just been remodeled - clean - great beds. Definitely recommend. The Villages Holiday Inn is so close to shopping and all The Villages has to offer. September 22, 2015
