Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place wife and I were just a walk-in -no reservations. Tired from all the traveling, we saw the hotel sign and drove in. Really surprise of the size of this place. Lobby was huge, and our room was a nice size as well. Quiet place, able to relax on this leg of our journey. No complaints to speak of. We would stay again should we be in the area. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by better than similar class properties Have stayed multiple times. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast buffet. A few rooms have had finicky air conditioners. Staff seems a bit indiferrent. They have a big problem reconizing priority club members and status. Room upgrades are very hit or miss without request at check in. When brought to the attention of staff, they seem unware of the program. Minor, but annoying. June 23, 2013

I've stayed there many times for work and pleasure related to Stockton or Oakland. A few nice restaurants and mile or 2 away, or lots of fast food close by. I highly reccommend this HI EXP. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for the business traveler Although a nice property, it is not for the business traveler. Internet service is extremely unreliable when it is available at all. Slow speeds and sketchy availability. Only the king rooms have desks, and those are limited. Electrical outlets are non-existent. I had to climb under the desk to find a place to plug in my laptop. If I was visiting Tracy as a tourist I might stay here, but as a business traveler I will not stay here again. I have stayed at this property many times over the past few years, and each time they have told me they are addressing the issues, and yet nothing has been done. This last stay was the deciding factor, when the girl at the desk told me it was probably my computer and not their service. I will be staying at the other major chain one exit up from now on. They are very business friendly. March 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My second home! This is my favorite Holiday Inn Express! The management seems to take a personal pride to have everything as it should be. I am never disappointed. If there's any problem at all, one phone call to the front desk is all that is needed, and things are put right. The staff is friendly, and I always feel that they appreciate my business. I've tried other places in Tracy, but this is far and away the best. Now I'd never consider staying anyplace else. February 11, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional staff and great service Every staff member at the Tracy Holiday Inn Express was excellent.....from housekeeping staff, groundsperson, breakfast buffet staff to the most exceptional front desk staff i have ever encountered (kind, compassionate, caring, helpful...while remaining very professional)....my trip was for a very sad and stressful time, to help our son as our daughter in law is in the hospital, ravaged by medically untreatable ovarian cancer. the staff: Bee, John, Sharbani, Ivan, Cristal....each an angel! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Half way stop We were travelling from Northern California, we have had very nice stays at HIE so made reservations. The front desk staff was very pleasent and helpfull. The beds were too firm for me but the room was very clean. If there was a negative about this stay it would have to be breakfast. The cinnaman rolls were very hard and nothings seemed very fresh. Maybe because it is off season and there were very few travellers at this hotel. February 3, 2013
