Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Rooms, Excellent and friendly staff I have been coming to the Holiday Inn when I come to Trinidad for business trips. The experiences have been very good all around. This time I must pay special commendation to the housekeeping staff. They were friendly and very accommodating. The service given to my room was excellent. Keen attention paid to all details. Kudos. The front office staff was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out was without any problems. Restaurant area needs some work. Basic continental breakfast -that I understand, however they need to be quicker on the cleanup. That was terribly slow and I had to request table cleanup one occasion. Also food replenishment needs to be quicker too. Basically this boils down to staff vigilance. December 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SHUTTLE Informed reservations that I will be arriving past midnight due to flight arrival. Waited for shuttle at the airport and finally was told it stops running at midnight. Taxi at this time of the night costs $26.00 for a five minute trip. The lady at the front desk could no be bothered about my complaint. December 6, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unreliable airport shuttle service The airport shuttle driver kept me and two other guests waiting over 40 minutes late at night for a pickup from the airport. This, for a 5 minute shuttle ride to the hotel. His excuse was that "he had to go get gas," Well, really, it was clear from the evidence that he had decided to go on a dinner break, hoping that no one would show up for that hour's scheduled shuttle pickup. I'm not sure what was more irksome, the driver's behavior or the front desk staff's complete lack of interest in the matter. The only reason for this hotel's existence is the proximity to the airport. You would think that they would try and get the shuttle service right, under the circumstances. November 28, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service This hotel was convenient in location from the Airport, it was clean, comfortable, courteous staff, safe. There was easy access for delivery of food it was right at your door, which I found rather interesting and convenient. I would definitely go back to this hotel, and recommend it to my friends.
