The room was comfortable, clean and attractive. We took advantage of the pool, hot tub and exercise room, which was great after a long day of travelling. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1st time in Oregon Great location
Conveniently located near Multnomah Falls and outlet mall, and about 20 minute drive to Portland.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Reason for low sleep quality: Although the A/C worked, it was noisy. Typical of A/C units in many chain hotels in the US, this unit came on and off noisily during the night. It seemed to circulate the same air in the room rather than bringing in fresh air.

Great value, the continental breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. The pool and hot tub were nice, very clean. Very comfortable bed and the room was quite for being so close to a truck stop. We stay there every time we are in the Portland area.

On entering the room I found a couple of things that looked like dog kibble on the floor right in front of me. Not the best first impression.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Elizzy24 The attitude of the ladies at the front desk
I just want to start off by commending the short haired woman that does breakfast during the week. She is AMAZING! Also, the ladies in housekeeping are extremely friendly and asked me whenever they saw me in the hallway if I needed anything. The two women who work the front desk, one had bobbed grey hair and the other had pixie cut brown hair were VERY rude. I just stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Downtown Portland and their front desk ladies were phenomenal. I had an issue with my credit card being frozen due to, I was traveling from out of town. No problem, I had another card I could use. The young lady with the pixie cut hair was very rude about the situation. She did not even greet me as a club member or thank me for my business. Then my key wasn't working to get in the building a few nights later and the woman with the grey bobbed hair was rude when I told her. She didn't even ask me for I.d. to get a new room key, just asked what room I was in. How is that supposed to make me feel safe in my room when anyone can just get a key and walk right on in? I work in retail so I understand 100% how mistakes happen, but also working in customer service I know that you treat the customer with more respect than these ladies did. I would definitely look into their attitudes and how the customer is treated. We many not always be right, but the customer comes first.

Stuff were great and very helpful. We did not arrive to the hotel until 12AM and looking for place to eat. Talk to the front desk and lucky us the restaurant in front of the hotel was open for 24 hours. After a night of sleep I notice the train passing by in the morning. I call the front desk for a room change and the front desk offer me a room change within 15 mins. We pick and change but I leave something in the room without knowing it. Until late at night when I call the front desk to check for lost and found, the front desk know right a way and offer to bring it up to my room. Thank you for all of your help.
