The hotel was very nice. The room was comfortable & very clean. That's very important to me. We were upgraded because we were Platinum members. That doesn't happen at all the hotels. I would definitely stay there again!

when we checked in to hotel we asked for a restaurant with a bar or lounge to relax . we were told of only one place that served drinks in the area. with very bad directions, we drove and found other places that were avil. just wonder why we were told there was only one place? staff just didnt seem too aware of what was avil. in the area. we stay at hotels all the time and they usually have a list or at least will goggle for directions for great places to eat, we were very disappointed with the help of the staff.

To start, I would like to commend the housekeeping team for an absolutely impeccable room! Of all hotels where I have stayted, IHG and non-IHG, this was by far the cleanest! The room was spotless!
Front desk and breakfast attendant staff were very pleasant. When I'm back in the area, I will definitely stay at this HIE!

I stay here for business any time I am in the area.

We drive back and forth to Florida from Southern Ontario a couple of times each winter and in the past have tried different hotel chains. Some were ok and others not so good. This year on the homeward leg we tried this Holiday Inn Express location and were certainly pleased. The Troutville staff were pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast is a winner and starts our the day on the right foot. This location will now become our new stop over when travelling home from Florida.

We requested top floor and not near the elevator. We were placed in a 2nd fl room and right by elevator and vending machines. We were told our room was under a business mans room, so we figured he would not be too loud. This was not the case, we could also hear the noise from the hall. The check-in told us if it was bothersome, she would move us. We didn't hear the noise until we were all settled in and at 5am. We stay at Holiday Inn Express everywhere, but this location needs to tell the breakfast lady not to dilute the sausage gravy soooo much. It was like lumpy milk.
Thankfully there are other choices for breakfast. Other than that, the hotel was clean and everyone was vey friendly.
