Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MY ROOM SMELT LIKE SMOKE They put me in a room that had been newly converted from a smoking room to a non-smoking room. It absolutely smelled awful. After the 2nd day they moved me to another room which was nicer - but it smelled musty and was very moist. As far as the breakfast options- they don't have any gluten free or vegetarian friendly options. Would be nice if they could get soy milk. June 14, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good The first room had a broken window. We told the clerk and he didn't suggest giving us another room. We left for a couple of hours and when my husband had taken off his shoes he noticed the carpet was wet by the window. We told the hotel clerk that we wanted another room. He gave us another room. That took over an hour to get ready. Which made it about 10:30 at night. The carpet was dirty and needed to be steamed cleaned, the toilet hadn't been cleaned. They didn't have soap for the shower. The night clerk gave us 20 percent off. When we turned the key card back the clerk had us speak to the manager. He gave us another 20 percent off. I would of rather just had a clean room to begin with. They needed to have two hotel clerks for the night shift. The clerk was helping the only cleaning person that was on duty that night clean the rooms. I noticed another couple having issues and also complaining about their carpets not being clean. This hotel was not what we are use to seeing in Holiday Inn properties. June 8, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bugs, bugs, bugs! Yep there were bugs in our room. My sister and I didn't see them at first. But in the middle of the night, bathroom visits reveal hundreds of tiny mite-like crawly things. They just seemed to be in the bathroom and not in the beds. Couldn't tell about the floor. Yucks, folks. When we tried to tell the front desk when we were leaving, we couldn't find anyone to tell this to and we certainly didn't feel like waiting around. We stayed somewhere else on our return trip. May 1, 2013

It was great the Old Country Buffet was right next door. Pool a bit small and there was no recognition for priority club membership. April 25, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Spacious Comfortable Room The staff was a little slow on waiting on me. In fact it took a little while for someone to appear at the front desk. I actually, almost went to a neighboring motel. When somebody finally came to the desk, the check-in was average. The room was very spacious, comfortable & clean. Which for me matters the most. Very comfortable nights sleep. I would stay again. April 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 No notification of construction There is no excuse for IHG's website not to advise visitors that the property is under construction. If HIX does not want to lose guests, it could give a lower rate or even more priority award points for the inconvenience. We did not know about the construction until we arrived after the 6pm cancellation cutoff. IHG can do better than this. No complains about the staff. Jayme was very nice and apologetic--just too late. April 16, 2013
