Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Close to everything We stayed in this area for our 50th high school reunion and found this hotel to be close to all of the events as well as being situated near multiple restaurants and services. The room was on the first floor, which was convenient for someone of our age and was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a couch and coffee table which made it nice for us to sit and read, etc. between events.The hot breakfast bar was excellent, especially the one minute pancake maker; what a great addition. The staff was congenial and helpful. November 2, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I generally like staying at Holiday Inn Express. Unfortunately not this one. The bed was hard. The wifi was so slow that I couldn't connect. They did not clean the room, make the bed, or take out the trash. They took the towels but did not replace them I called for towels and a bath rug and the guy who delivered them practically threw them in my face. Getting in and out of the hotel was a pain too. I do not recommend this hotel as there are better ones for the price. November 2, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not very friendly The night staff was not very friendly at all. She did not make us feel at home and I am not used to this type of treatment at Holiday Inn Expresses. The room itself was worn and dated. Going through Birmingham, I'll find another rest stop! September 30, 2012
