We were on our way home from our summer vacation and had 2 bikes on the back of the SUV and I was concerned about the security of the parking lot. The night staff assured me that the night auditors routinely walk around outside and that made us feel better. Plus, we were able to park close to the entrance due to using our Handicap Placard, so we felt good about that. Thanks so much! August 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly not bad Our visit got off to a rocky start when we arrived after the stated check in time and the front desk didn't know if they had a room ready. Once that was straightened out the room was fine in most respects. The bathroom lights are on a motion sensor, though. They don't turn on automatically, but they do turn off on their own after a while. This is an issue for us because we often leave a bathroom light on and the door almost closed to make it easier to navigate an unfamiliar space in the dark. The hotel was also noisy, with people loud in the hallway until pretty late. Another issue was the pool access. It is not convenient. You either have to exit the main entrance or the back entrance and then walk around to the end of the building, and in the case of the rear, past all the ac units. I also found that the exercise room didn't have a rowing machine. These have become the go to machine for many people, me included. In the last few weeks I have stayed in seven Holiday Inn hotels in five states. Although not terrible, this was the worst. August 5, 2015
