While traveling to Tulsa for an event, I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Bixby in order to utilize IHG rewards points. Our friends and associates questioned our choice, saying it was too far away, however, we did not notice any inconvenience in travel times, and rather liked being able to get out of the downtown area. It's a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a Target and a Sprouts. The room is extremely comfortable and the hotel is clean and in a safe location. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast was great. Internet was reliable and the room was comfortable and had great amenities. May 18, 2015

The only thing is that there are small signs in the hotel for example providing complimentary toothbrushes/toothpaste in the bathroom or takeout boxes for those on the go at the breakfast bar. When I asked, the staff said there were no toothbrushes and no takeout boxes available. Although these are extras, it is disappointing that staff cannot deliver on the promise due to lack of resources. May 13, 2015

The staff are outstanding. They were extremely helpful and very friendly. The front desk agent provided better customer service than a concierge in a five star hotel. May 10, 2015

Good size room for meeting place and use for awards banquet. Had plenty of room in storage area including a refrig for food and drinks. Liked being able to use our own caterer. Would suggest a better selection of table linens as some where mismatched. May 10, 2015
