This hotel is in a great location with lots of dining and recreation nearby. That being said it is in an area that is quiet. The pool and hot tub were clean and very relaxing. Enjoyed my stay there and will return again.

My family of 4 recently stayed at the Holiday Inn at Bixby, OK. We had some issues that are not good. First, our room was never comfortable. We tried to lower the temperature but it was always hot. Second, the pool area was always out of towels. We had to go up to our room to get our own towels to use in the pool area. Next, we never were able to get to sleep due to kids always running up and down in the hallway. This was really bad since we had to try to get our 2 year old son asleep. And last but the worst, we were in line to get the complimentary breakfast at around 9:55 realizing the cutoff time is 10. We were in line with some other families and an associate came out and pulled all the food out, slammed the doors shut and said breakfast is over. Heaven forbid that associate let us that are still in line eat the remaining food instead of throwing it away! This caused us to have to leave and go to a restaurant to feed out 2 boys and ourselves food which cost us additional money. Beginning to regret signing up for IHG Rewards Club.

I was the first person at breakfast and discovered that the omelets were rancid. I called this to the attention of the hostess who removed them. I tried to complain to the front desk at both 6 and 6:30 am and could not find a soul. I did talk to two desk clerks at check out who basically told me I was wrong. I spend 200 nights per year in hotels and will NEVER return to this property.
Teach your people how to store food properly.

The hotel was really nice in appearance. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk was very nice friendly.
The negatives were:
(1) Wi-Fi did not work. We had two different computers (Samsung and HP) and 4 different phones (iPhone 5S, iPhone 4S, iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy) BUT NONE of them could connect to the Wi-Fi. We had just stayed two nights at another hotel in OKC and all the devices could connect. We visited restaurants, etc. and other hotels in the past month and had no issues connecting to the Wi-Fi. The front desk worker was very nice but could not help. When we came back from dinner I asked him if they had rebooted it and he told us the owner could connect and he could too, and no one else complained. That was not helpful. So basically we were out of luck and could not complete our work unless we left the hotel and found another location with Wi-Fi.
(2) The hotel had 1 small elevator that was very very slow. There were a lot of rooms at that hotel. It is amazing that they only had 1 elevator. It seemed like an old elevator in a new hotel.

Hotel had a very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

The hotel was nice and clean but the only thing was that the hot tub was not working something happened and they were in the process of fixing it but it was not working while there.
