I travel to this area frequently and I was glad to see this property constructed in an area I like to stay. I have stayed here a few times over the past couple of years and each time I have been disappointed by poor service and attitude on the part of the staff. This is the Only property I have stayed at in the last 3 decades that will leave you standing at the front desk, waiting by yourself to check in- it has happened every single time. This contributes to the overall "feel" of staying at an abandoned motel, which is a bit unusual for such a new place. The rooms I have stayed in have some nice furnishings, but the signs of inattentiveness are already popping up; the last room I stayed in had a modern, wall mounted thermostat (new), and next to it a sign telling you to use the old controls over on the window unit. Entryway keycard access doors have already been disabled/broken, although the signs have been left in place telling you to use the keycard for entry.

Great location for World Series Baseball Tournaments at Bentley Sports Complex. We enjoyed being able to walk to near by restaurants and Andy's Frozen Custard. Having the movie theater within walking distance was a big plus to keep our team entertained in the evenings. The indoor pool was also hit . Breakfast - has a pancake maker machine, a great variety for breakfast with FRESH FRUIT! I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff.

Nice brand new hotel and convenient to many restaurants and amenities.
At check clerk did not mention fact I was Platinum Priority Member and missed receiving a complimentary gift bag as is the norm at most HIE Hotels.

This facility was very convenient from the Interstate. It is very close to numerous restaurants. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The check in/out process was very fast and convenient. The room was very clean and enjoyable. We asked for additional towels and the staff was very quick with a response.
The bed was very comfortable.

The room was great the location was close to mall and restuarants. Everything was wonderful. We would definitely come back to this hotel if in this area of Tulsa again.

We were in a ground floor wheel chair accessible room that is one of the best we have had. We plan to stay again in May.

Nice facility, part of your front desk staff has an attitude issue. I got to your facility around 9pm, got my key went to my room on the 2nd floor, opened the door and both beds were piled high in a wade of bedding, went to the desk got anouther room opened that door the same result a large pile of bedding. Went back to the front desk and dropped my key on the desk, the desk clerk mentioned something about throwing my key at her, i applogized and got a room on the top floor. So how was the room conditions my fault, I didnt understand that.
As a frequent visitor to Tulsa and a HI Platnum member, I will stop using your facility and go back to the HI exp by the Hard Rock

Spent one night at this hotel to celebrate our annual Girls' Night Out with sisters, nieces and granddaughters. The pool seemed clean and the suite was large and comfortable. There was a slight whistling sound coming from the windows when the wind was blowing outside, but it did not keep us awake. We enjoyed the fire in the fireplace in the lobby while we ate breakfast the next morning. The variety of breakfast items and quality of food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I am a very picky traveller as I have been fortunate to travel all over the world. I found that this hotel was one of my all time favorite places to stay, and here are some of the reasons why. When I arrived in Bixby it was 12 degrees that night. I was greeted very warmly by Shannon at the Front Desk as well as by a nice fire in the fireplace that's in the Lobby. The fire was going again the next morning when I came down to breakfast. The breakfast here is just exceptional! They keep everything VERY neat and clean and the variety and selections are great! In addition to hot cinnamon rolls, homemade pancakes, juices, pastries, cereals, biscuits and gravy---they even had omelets one morning! They always have fresh, hot coffee in the Breakfast area and it was very smooth and tasted like gourmet coffee. The room was so large! I loved the comfy bed and pillows! I normally have to bring my own pillow due to neck problems, but the pillows were labeled as either firm or soft on the pillowcase so I could choose the most comfortable one for me. The bathroom was also large with many different amenities such as soft, fluffy towels and bath gel and makeup remover cloths. Finally, in so many hotels it is impossible to sleep or rest well due to noise. So many times you hear doors banging and people talking, etc. I never heard anything---in fact, I overslept one morning it was so peaceful. I spent a week at the HI Express Bixby and enjoyed it so much, I can't wait to go back! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

I recently had the priviledge to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Bixby, OK. I could literally write a book about all the things I enjoyed there, but I will try to narrow it down! One of the most striking things is that it's just very comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the pillows feel great (they have 2 firm and 2 soft which are labeled!), and the room was very quiet! When I stay in any hotel, I am used to being woken up by doors banging and people talking or running up and down the halls. I never heard anything! I was able to rest and sleep so well that I actually over-slept one day! The rooms and bathrooms are large and the bathroom is filled with nice amenities and soft, fluffy towels. The staff there is friendly and helpful. Another favorite was the breakfast. They have a very nice assortment of pastries, juices, homemade pancakes, biscuits, gravy and even omelets some days! The coffee was always fresh, hot and very smooth. Finally, the location of the hotel is great! It is within walking distance of a 20 screen movie theatre as well as many different restaurants. I cannot wait to go back and stay at this Hotel again!! They do an excellent job!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by makemeup The bed was confortable but the sheet and confort had a strange smell. I noticed the towel had the same smell and assumed it was a laundry issue.
The staff was helpful and very friendly. Nice having a mico wave in the room. One issue was the heater. The room was 64 the first night. When I came back to the room the next night the temp and gone down to 61. I called the front desk before retiring and someone came and it seemed to start working & reached 67. Some time during the night it went back down to 62. When checking out I did tell the clerk about the problem with the heater and she seemed to know there was a problem in other rooms. Was not sure the carpet had been sweep because there was a can of chewing tobacco from the last guest next to the bed.
Can not grade the breakfast because I did not eat there.

I had horible nights sleeping. I could hear people in roomsaround me like I was standing next to them - supridsng for a newer hotel - move to another hotel for final night and could not hear a peep. They also didn't offer me a complimentary bottle of water or snack bag as most properties do for Platinum members

The front desk clerk was exceptionally helpful. We needed a crib and they were all in use. She and her supervisor decided to purchase a pack and play from a nearby store. Needless to say, everyone slept well. Thank you!

I drive out of my way to stay at this hotel. It's newer, quite and near a new part of town. You could walk to a movie, Target, any chain or non chain resturant you may choose. Nothing stands out - however that's a good thing. Mostly business class, and the front desk "gets it" 90% of the time. I only stay in Holiday Inn / Holiday Inn Express and I'll say they typically do a better job than 90% of the other Holiday Inn Express hotels nationwide, Against other Tulsa versions of Holiday Inn - they are a better choice vs. all others except Hoilday Inn Broken Arrow.

My husband and I were looking forward to a long overdue weekend in Bixby to see our granddaughter and family so we called October 17th and reserved a Queen Bed Suite with a whirlpool for the night of the 20th. The girl who answered the phone and assisted me seemed unsure of what was available but we got through her uncertain attitude and made the reservetion. When I asked her to email me the confirmation, she said they don't do that? "What, I said, all major hotels email a confirmation?" She said she would figure out a way to do that and I receive it in my email later that day. My email confirmation clearly states what I asked for and what was reserved for our stay. When we arrived after 6:00 p.m. Saturday the 20th, tired and weary, the gal at the desk said we were on the second floor in a King Suite? I said that is not what we reserved and she said, this is all we have open? First, we were disappointed it was not reserved correctly, second, we were disappointed as we had to tell our 3 year old granddaughter there was not a whirlpool in the room and third, not once were we offered the room we did not ask for a discounted rate or for FREE! Your staff, your customer service and your willingness to make it right was less than friendly and accomodating. We will hesitate to make Holiday Inn Express our first choice for our next stay in Bixby. Thank you for your time and interest! Sherman, Tx.
