Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disrespectful guests ruin sleep We enjoyed staying here on our way to Destin, however, our return visit on the way home was not an enjoyable experience. As a platinum elite member I was disappointed when the front desk staff did not follow through with the posted policy regarding the pool hours. It clearly stated that the pool closed at 10:00 p.m. However, after repeated calls to the front desk the rude guests were still allowed to remain in the pool. They were loud and obnoxious and wreaked havoc until 11:45. I would typically be up and this wouldn't have bothered me, but we had an 11 hour drive and an early morning wake-up call the next morning. When I checked out the next day, the front desk staff told me she understood the complaint and that the incident should not have been allowed to go on that long, but that sometimes it is hard to get rude guests out of the pool. I just feel that if it is hard to get people to follow the rules maybe the security needs to be stronger at this establishment. I am not sure if we will return in the future. July 23, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed My last 2 stays at this hotel have been extremely disappointing. The staff are the most uncaring and unfriendly I have ever experienced. They obviously never pay attention to special requests since the last 2 stays they have ignored my requests. I do not have this problem with other Holiday Inn hotels I stay with (which I do often). One of my trips, it took me 15 minutes to get anyone to check me in because the desk clerk was too busy chatting with her male friend in the dining area to even bother to come and check me in. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. I do enjoy the hotel and like the rooms but the bad service has made me not want to stay here again. July 20, 2014
