Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great problem solvers and bright room I enjoyed staying in my room. I was in an end room that had two windows and the daytime lighting was fantastic. The air conditioning was great (hot flashes) and kept me comfortable through the night. I am not very good with technology and the front desk took the time to help me with my laptop problems. They went above and beyond with that aspect of my stay. I enjoyed the breakfast provided. Lots of great choices and an automatic pancake machine!! Just press a button and the pancakes come out cooked at the end! I would love to have one at home. So much safer that the waffle makers you usually see at hotels. I was also able to use the line that I was smarter the next day because I had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. August 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Front Desk People After driving all day, we were tired and wanted to find a place to stay. After having other positive experiences at the Holiday Inn Express, we were ready to stay at another one. The folks up front were very helpful and gave us answers to any of our questions. They also offered a free Happy Hour for the evening and the breakfast for the morning. I have not had many experiences using a WIFI and the folks upfront were very helpful in showing me how to use my lap top to connect, The folks were just very friendly and outgoing.The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay at this Holiday Inn Express again. When one has a positive experience with a company, they are more than likely to try other chain related facilities. August 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent home away from home! I've recently been in Tuscaloosa on an extended stay due to company business. And normally I stay here at least a week a month throughout the year. Liz, Kelly, Meghan and the rest of staff have been excellent. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and that your needs are met. The rooms are always clean, neat and comfortable. Attention to detail is obvious throughout the facility. I even witnessed Liz, the owner, tending to the breakfast bar one morning and when I asked if there was anything she didn't do, she responded " If I don't know how to do it, I can't train the staff how to do it.". I would recommend that whenever your coming to Tuscaloosa, you try the Holiday Inn Express. You won't be disappointed. August 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Long day of moving led to arthris pain My wife and I were helping my son move from one apartment to another at school. I had a flair up of arthritis in my knees. Coming back to a comfortable bed was a welcome relief, there was plenty of ice in the ice machine to ice my knees. The breakfast was good and the staff was very accommodating. All in all a very good experience. July 30, 2014
