One of the staff members at the front desk must have been having a really bad day. She was in a bad mood and was just not friendly as the check in staff all the Holiday Inn Express I stay. Hope she gets into a better mood. Everyone else was great including the housekeeping staff.

average hotel. Nothing special. Why did my wife have to use her bank card to register when the room was reserved by my AmEx card and also, the card is on file with Holiday Inn.

If I had to stay here again I would, but will probably try the HIExpress across town next. This one wasn't the best experience I've had. Maybe because it's right across the street from a Tattoo parlor. That was a little off-putting from the beginning. Lobby, elevators and hallways could have been cleaner. Placing us on the same floor as a soccer team wasn't the best idea either. You should try to put all of your sports teams together. That way they can all be loud together instead of bothering people who are just trying to work and get a peaceful sleep.

The process of checking in and checking out were a complete breeze. Nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Staff friendly and attentive.

My a/c unit was VERY loud. It was either on and freezing or off and warm. The room would have been great if that hadn't been a problem.
I asked for a cart to be brought up at checkout and was told that one would be available downstairs for me to come get.. I know this isn't a deal breaker but this should have been a simple request.
Breakfast was marginal as expected for a buffet.
