Noisy heating/cooling system. Oikos greek yogurt would be a nice choice for breakfast.

The lady that makes the breakfast, places the food out for the guests and then cleans up is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She does a wonderful job and is such a pleasant and dedicated person. When I travel to the Carle Foundation Hospital and stay at the HIE, she is constantly one of the highlights. I am sorry I can't remember her name tonight but please give her a raise!! EJS

I was pleased with my stay and the location near the highway and close proximity to my visit at the University. For a college town, I found the hotel quite adequate. Didn't go down for breakfast or use the work out facilities this time. Staff were pleasant.

The Holiday Inn Express--Champaign is a nice hotel generally. But the one thing that makes it my only choice when I am in town is Ms. Dorothy. She sets up breakfast each day and treats each guest as family. She is prompt, conscientious, and incredibly personable. She makes you sad to leave. I look forward to my calls in the area just so I can say hey to her!

I had just a quick overnight stay and the ambiance at Holiday Inn Express is really lovely. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the breakfast offerings were very abundant. The staff was lovely and helpful. Thank you!
There were just a couple of glitches. I had no toilet paper nor kleenex tissue in my room initially. That was a bit awkward. Also, the internet connection from my room was almost non-existent. I was able to connect with no problem but the reception was terrible. I really needed to get some computer work accomplished but was unable to from my room. Very inconvenient. Also, the exercise room was pretty sparse but I realize that's probably not a major priority for the hotel.

As a priority club elite member, I got upgraded to a King Suite which was very comfortable, clean, and excellent. I will definitely stay here, if I were to go back to Urbana, IL.

We had an overall good stay ... the one thing that I was not pleased with was the vent in the room ... we did not realize (until the next morning) that there were different setting for the fan ... it would blow REALLY hard - then go off - every time it did that during the night, I woke up ... the pool was small, but my sons did enjoy it - the best part, as far as my boys were concerned was breakfast ... cinnamon rolls - warmed - with peanut butter on them ...
