The hotel room was really really dirty when we checked in so they upgraded us to a suite. The room was awesome!! The breakfast was awesome and the cinnammon buns are delicious...

As a long time PC platinum member is was nice once again to receive the nice service, greeting and PC upgrade on the room.
Love the location for shopping in Utica and great value for HIE.

The hotel was great. Great location for my customers meetings. However the way the Hotel bills is quite different than other Holiday Inn proprties. They bill for each night, then give you a final bill for both nights. However they leave the indiviual charges on until the credit card clears. Thus this makes it quite difficult for business travelers to rectife their expense report for the week. I seriously doubt I will stay there again do to this billing issue.

I accidentally left my Day Timer in my room when I left the hotel. This item is CRITICAL to me as it has all my appointments, meetings, phone numbers and action items. I stayed on the 28th at this hotel. On March 2nd I called to see if it was there and was told it was found and that it would be mailed to me. I gave my credit card number to cover the expense of the shipment. I have been looking for it to arrive all week I just called (March 8th) to follow up and the front desk (not the same person, the original was a male) said it was "sitting on the counter, with all your information on it, but no one has taken time to box it up and send it." (I JUST LOVE KNOWING MY AM EX CARD HAS BEEN OUT IN THE OPEN). She would box it up today and it should be on its way by Monday (3/11).
This is NOT the type of service I have come to expect from Holiday Inn (gold card memeber) and I am extremely dissappointed with the follow through on a item that is SO important to me.

Get the Jacuzzi room if you dont have the kids. Its worth it. Nice big bed, fireplace, everything you need for a weekend stay. close to bars n shopping. Very clean.
