Nice facility in a great location close to the airport. Breakfast was the normal HIE fare, nothing fancy but good variety. We were only there about 12 hours, but had a couple of service issues. We called the hotel about 3-4 hours before checking in, to ask about changing the room type. The lady at the desk told us that she was busy and would have to call us back, which was understandable. She took our name and number but didn't call back. After we checked in, we needed to drop off our rental car and asked them to have the hotel shuttle pick us up. The (different) lady at the desk was very vague about where we would be picked up, and as a result we wasted about half an hour waiting at the airport before they straightened it out. Neither of these glitches was all that important in our particular situation, but if circumstances were different they could have caused problems. But overall, next time we fly out of Sacramento we'll stay there again.

My husband and I spend a lot of time at the Holiday Inn Express in Vacaville, mostly when we are renovating one of our rental properties in the area, but for other occasions as well.
We love both the management and the staff...they feel like family to us, and they treat us as such.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the breakfast the hotel offers is very generous; and the hotel is located close to shopping and restaurants. A win-win all the way around.

Room 2231 had the lights go on 6-8 times the 2 nights my sons were in that room. Room 229 had a problem with the shower flow the 3 nights some of my children were there. Since our bill was so high, I felt the Manager could have lower our rate a little more since we had so many rooms for the funeral at quite an expense to our family. Staff at front desk was very kind especially Wyonna; she worked the early afternoon until 11 pm. The breakfasts were always warm, clean area and many excellent choices for breakfast. Because of the passing of our Father and no other family up there, we won't be returning to that particular Holiday Inn Express. But we have stayed there several times in the past and have been pleased with the Hotel. Our Father was buried at the Sacramento National Cemetery with Military Honors, was a WW11, Korean Conflict Veteran and a career Officer in the Air Force. We were grateful to have such an lovely Hotel to stay at while we visited him and buried him.
