Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Clean I stay at this hotel every month when I am in Vancouver for business. The staff is small, but they know my name and are very courteous when I check in. I've never had a problem with this hotel or its staff, and I try to leave things as nice and clean as they were when I found them. My only complaint in ANY hotel is when parents let their kids run up and down the halls, slam doors, act like idiots at the pool/facilities, and in general don't keep their kids in line. The management here at this Holiday Inn Express is pretty good about getting after the occasional hooligan! Pretty quiet and always pleasant. October 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Run of the mill, but comfortable for the most part I have stayed at many a Holiday Inn. This was the second time I have stayed here. I had to be on the road by 7:15 every morning for 4 mornings and one out of the 4 mornings breakfast wasn't out by 6:45 (they say 6:30) so I had to leave and go to Starbucks. The mattress was a bit worn out and had bows in it where many people have slept. But the sheets were nice and clean. People were friendly. I felt safe walking around the Hotel and to the restaurants nearby. All in all it was pretty good. I would probably stay here again, but I might try one of the other IHG affiliates nearby too. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice clean room... Staying in Vancouver for the weekend because our daughter had a tennis tournament at Club Green Meadows. When traveling we always try to stay at a Holiday Inn Express. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel was just a short distance from our destination each day. This is our first stay that we encountered a few issues. On Saturday night, there was a room full of kids that were being really loud at 12:30 am right next to our room. We waited it out for a little bit to see if they would calm down but when they didn't I called the front desk to make them aware of the situation. They handled it in a very timely manner and we were very appreciative of that. After we arrived home, I noticed on my American Express bill that I had been charged for 3 nights instead of just 2. I called the hotel and the manager, Gary, just happened to answer the phone. He proceeded to credit us back the extra night that we were charged and he credited us back the more expensive night as well! Thank you Gary!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vancouver!! October 7, 2014
