Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely expensive for a stop over to relax The amount charged was excessive for the use of the room. Need to rest for a few hours only. Told that at the reception and they give me a nice room but thought it was the most economical one. At no time I was told about options or prices before taking the room. November 20, 2014

Stayed here for 2 nights, Nov. 15-16 – quick service @ check-in; even though these were IHG Rewards free nights, I was given complimentary upgrade to king bed suite (room 512) – greatly appreciated! Free parking & also designated spots for Platinum Elite members near hotel’s front entrance. Complimentary newspapers in lobby. This hotel is well maintained & immaculately clean. Suite was also super clean, nicely furnished, king bed extremely comfortable with several great pillows & luxurious linens. Separate sitting sofa & coffee table area also had table & 2 chairs, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker & wet bar sink. No issues with complimentary wifi. Breakfast room very bright & spacious & well-appointed, large screen TV on news & weather channel; Complimentary hot breakfast buffet was hot, fresh & plentiful , also included make-your-own pancakes; good selection of breads, cereals, fruit, etc. Tables were cleared by friendly staff as soon as they were vacated; Convenient location near intersection of Hwy 7 & 27; several restaurants & food take-outs within walking distance including Swiss Chalet at one end of the hotel parking lot & Fionn MacCool’s at other end of hotel parking lot – we had excellent evening meals at both. We have stayed here on a few other occasions, and I highly recommend this hotel! November 19, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by My room not ready at 2:45 My room was not ready but despite that fact that I was travelling with a group the concierge did not figure out that I could "hang out" with them and that the desk could call me when my key was ready. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Minor inconveniences I thought it would be worth mentioning the following: The bathtub didn't drain well Exhaust fan in the washroom doesn't work or isn't hooked up - not sure The lighting in the bathroom is terrible - way too dim to try and apply makeup The TV in the workout room needs to have speakers or have a much higher volume level. With one treadmill going you can't hear anything when at max volume On a positive note: Front desk staff always look up and say hello - very friendly and welcoming The breakfast staff member (gentleman) was excellent. Very attentive and friendly Overall the room was comfortable and I would return. November 11, 2014
