Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Stay Let me start off by saying that this is a nice hotel, slightly outdated but location makes up for it. Beds are very comfortable, large rooms, beautiful view. I have no complaints about any of the above. The only issue that I experienced at the hotel was during the check in. Since I have arrived about an hour early (my mistake, I thought the check in was at 3:00 PM) I was promptly informed that the check in is at 4:00 PM and that my room was not ready. The receptionist stated that the room should be ready in about 20 to 30 minutes and that they will call me when it is ready. I was okay with that, after all it was my mistake to show up early. I stayed in hotel lobby and waited. Guests started arriving and they were all checked in immediately. I was still waiting, 30 minutes passed, 45 minutes passed, an hour passed and no one was calling me. About an hour and ten minutes from my first check in attempt I walked up to the service desk and asked what happened to my room. That is when the staff started calling about the status of my room. 10 minutes later I was finally given a key. It was approximately 4:20. I am a business man and I know that snafu happens when you are running a business but how you handle it, is what makes the difference. While I was waiting in the lobby, none of the staff came by to update me of the status. I have a feeling that I could have stayed there for another hour and no one would have come out to talk to me. (I was in plain site of the front desk) While I was waiting there at least 30 people has checked in. Imagine how a guest feels seeing everyone else checking in with no problems and he is still waiting. I would advise the management to provide additional training to their normally very good, friendly and knowledgeable staff to include the situation as I described. The front desk did give me free parking (I appreciate that) for the trouble but it is not always about the money, but how you get treated. Sometimes that is much more important. I know this was just a weird turn of events and I am pretty sure that it will never happen again to me but I just wanted to share my situation. November 18, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad stay Very bad stay. Room was not ready at 4:15 even though check-in was 4:00 pm. Overcharged for "parking". Poor quality of breakfast choices. Appears that the hotel allows local farm workers into breakfast area. November 13, 2015

As usual, the service was wonderful. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and well attended. October 30, 2015
