Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Agradecido Gracias por su servicio exelente hotel para esta area July 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location We liked this hotel because it was close to the marina and downtown Ventura. The room was clean, food was good and the beds were comfortable. July 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Aroma Nice rooms, good bed, pleasant staff and decent breakfast (except for the omelets.) Sewage aroma towards the end of the hotel near the Ventura West parking lot is unpleasant and we won't stay on that side of the hotel any more. Twice is enough. Otherwise, we like the place. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Environment A great hotel with excellent accommodations and views. The only drawback is the aroma from a nearby waste water treatment plant. July 17, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid this property Comfortable as it was, and attentative as staff was, it could not make up for stained carpeting, tatered amenities, and reidiculous fees. July 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice clean hotel in a great location. My daughter, her husband and their two children recently visited me for a week from Denver. As I am elderly and no longer have room for house guests I booked them into the Holiday Inn Express at the Ventura Harbor. From check in until check out everything was great and they had a lovely vacation. They had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the Harbor with a nice balcony to sit out on. The children were thrilled to be able to see the boats from their room, and the proximity of the family beach and small touristy stores. There are lots of good restaurants, all within walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was great, and a very good value as it was included with the cost of their room. July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Harbor View! Lovely large harbor view room. Open the windows, or sit on the balcony and enjoy! Only thing a bit odd, breakfast was kind of cold even though it was busy. Anyway, for pure location this is one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express sites out there. Very friendly staff as well. July 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A little chincy on the soap Have stayed here before. The harbor view is the reason we returned. Eating breakfast one morning a guest brought in her stinky dog. I thought she was going to put it on my table, but she put it on the floor next to my table and proceeded to fill a tray to take back to her room. She then put the dog on her tray and carried all away. The proximity of the restroom to the breakfast room is now well understood, as I thought I would vomit right then and there. After someone else left it opened a space up a short distance away and I moved there and attempted to finish breakfast. The rest of the say was unremarkable. July 14, 2014
