Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Too much for too little The entire place was disappointing. As I walked in the floors were dirty, looked like a construction crew just walked through and no one bothered to sweep up the dirt or clean up the mess, this carried on to the elevator and even on to the floor where I stayed. The room had poor AC/Heat, I could not get it adjusted to be comfortable at all, which I told them the next morning. No offer to reduce rate, just that they would tell maintenance about, like it was a normal thing. The room had no fridge or microwave, which at this day and time, should be standard in each room at the Express sites. Behind the TV was an 8" part of the wall had been repaired, but no wallpaper put back on the repair. The furniture looked like stuff from taken from a used furniture store. This was the most disappointing HI Express that I've stayed at and the price was WAY overpriced for this site. November 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable beds Travelling with my kids, needed only overnight accomodations but wanted quality, which we certainly got. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels and this was certainly among the best. Beds extremely comfortable, much needed for the short time we were able to sleep. November 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and comfortable Room was clean and comfortable. Only negative things I have are that the toilet seat was to small for the rim and felt like you were sitting on the rim. Hole in the wall behind sofa/bed table. Wall paper was taped with masking tape. Appeared it had been forgotten. October 28, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mouse in room poor management We were travelling to town for a funeral of a family member. On the 2nd night of our stay, there was a mouse in our room. We saw it several times. We asked to change rooms right away. This is unsanitary and unsafe for my 3 year old and 6 month old children. We were moved to the room next door. There was no apology, just a odd that the mouse could get to the 2nd floor. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was none on duty. I asked to have the manager contact me the next day. The next day the manager did not reach out to me, so I tried to contact them - still during my stay at the hotel. There was no manager on duty. I asked that Amanda, the manager call me. On Monday, after my return home, I called to speak with Amanda. She was not available. I asked that she call me back. I received no call back. I then tried to call again on Wednesday and reached her. This is unacceptable customer service. I lived in Vermillion for many years and visit often. I will be not staying at this hotel again. I am coming out next month Sept 2015 and have booked with a competitor. August 28, 2015
