The staff was very friendly and helpful regarding the location of restaurants and interesting sites to see. We were able to relax in the pool and hot tub without noise.

I stayed for two weeks and the internet went off line daily from 5:30 -6:20 AM. The staff was unable to assist in resolving the problem despiute their regular efforts with the internet provider--apparently Midcontinent is the only show in town!
Good stay other than the ongoing internet challenges.

I stayed here for two nights because of a severe South Dakota storm and was quite impressed with the night auditor/desk clerk/breakfast preparer. Gene was wonderful and took the extra time to check the roads and weather forecast for me and seemed genuinually concerned about my safety and the safety of other guests who were traveling.
I was less impressed with the afternoon clerk who checked me in. He seemed more concerned with playing with his computer (probably not Hotel work) then with checking me in. He seemed to resent the interuption and informed me that the hotel would not give me reward points credit for the stay bcause I was a state business traveler. I travel frequently and have attained Gold status and am well on my way to earning Platinum status. I do not believe I was ever denied credits at other Holiday Inns. I chose this hotel so I could earn the points and was extremely disappointed that they apparently have been denied to me. In many Holiday Inns frequent travelers are welcomed but it seemed the treatment I received at check in was that I was "just another guest" who was bothering the clerk.
Since I was pretty much stuck at this hotel for two days because of the storm and had the chance to observe this particular clerk in other interactions with male guests, I believe there may have been some gender bias by this male clerk and hope the management will take note and address this issue.
Based on this experience it is unlikely I will stay here again if I am in Vermillion as there are other options in hotels/motels that DO reward their loyal customers.

I stayed for one night and experienced excellent service from the time I walked into the establishment until I left the following morning. Since my time was limited I did not take advantage of the pool area or workout room but both looked clean and well-kept. The staff was helpful, cordial and polite. The night desk clerk greeted me with a hello and a smile and the morning desk clerk wished me a good day before I left. Overall I was very impressed with the facility and the people who worked there.

This hotel offers the best staff and service of any hotel I stay in. They always great me by name when I walk in the door and will do anything to make sure my stay is perfect.

We are very please with our stay. There was a one problem but they did everything they could to correct the situation. This is the second time we stayed there and will always stay there when we come to Vermillion.

This is the BEST Hotel in Vermillion! We have stayed here numerous time and we have never been disappointed! The staff is so friendly and very accomodating! Do NOT stay anywhere else! Everything is 5 star and the only reason the Breakfast Choices was a "4" was because we stayed for several days and they used to change up the breakfast and I noticed that this time the food was the same. Good, but the same.
