We were travelling to town for a funeral of a family member. On the 2nd night of our stay, there was a mouse in our room. We saw it several times. We asked to change rooms right away. This is unsanitary and unsafe for my 3 year old and 6 month old children. We were moved to the room next door. There was no apology, just a odd that the mouse could get to the 2nd floor. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was none on duty. I asked to have the manager contact me the next day. The next day the manager did not reach out to me, so I tried to contact them - still during my stay at the hotel. There was no manager on duty. I asked that Amanda, the manager call me. On Monday, after my return home, I called to speak with Amanda. She was not available. I asked that she call me back. I received no call back. I then tried to call again on Wednesday and reached her. This is unacceptable customer service. I lived in Vermillion for many years and visit often. I will be not staying at this hotel again. I am coming out next month Sept 2015 and have booked with a competitor.
