Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVED it! This hotel is gorgeous ... being new everything looks fresh. The pool area is beautiful, the lobby inviting, the breakfast delicious and the beds ... let's just say I was NOT looking forward to returing home to my own! But any hotel can have beauty and comfort. What totally sold me was the warmth and help of the staff. Joseph checked us in, greeted us as though we were family, took the time to print off restaurants and recommend a few. He answered every question patiently and with a smile. Susan (our breakfast hostess) was also a sweetheart! And the food - let's just say we didn't need lunch after that spread. I have already told my friends and family that this is the place to stay. Hats off to the staff that made our stay so enjoyable! TM March 26, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too expensive We stay in Holiday Inn Express often when we travel. This location was far too expensive for the setting, aesthetics, and condition. We almost turned away but were exhausted after a long day of driving. We had stopped short of the Gulf thinking it would be more affordable but we later had better rates on the Gulf that in this very average city. February 12, 2013

Was once again reminded of Texas hospitality when I received a call early on my arrival day welcoming me to the hotel. I spend a lot of time on the road. I cannot remember the last time the hotel called to thank me for staying with them ahead of time. Room was great and while I am not used to the tempurpedic style mattress...I slept great. THANKS November 26, 2012
