Although the hotel was near capacity, we felt like we were coming and going to our own home. We had privacy as we enjoy in our home.

My husband and I usually try to stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels when traveling because of our prior experiences with cleanliness, comfort and good breakfast. This Holiday Inn was nice but did have a musty smell like it might have flooded at some point. I also found a roach in my room, which I immediately showed to housekeeping. They assured me they would have the exterminator come in and spray. Later, I found a baby roach in my luggage - which I'm sure came from there.
The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were friendly. We used the pool and it was great! No problems.

My husband and I redeemed points for two free stays at Vincennes on a 2-week vacation. The first week stay was excellent, although our second stay was not as great. We were put in a room near the laundry room and we heard zippers and metal buttons clanging in the dryer late at night and at 5:30a on our departure morning.
We were left thinking a free night is not worth it if Managaement is thoughtless to grant a restful stay. There was trade-off on getting quality sleep, for sure.
We did not complain, but will definitely ask Management about the proximity of our room next time!
