Newer facility with nicely maintained rooms and lobby/breakfast area 1 block from highway. Pet friendly and a good value. Pleasant staff and efficient service.

Paid for a non-smoking, didn't get it. Had a room on the second floor and someone had left the window open to try and dissipate the smell. I understand the maids and workers can't help it if people violate their policies, but they shouldn't be putting people in the room if they are still trying to air it out. There was no screen on the window and no way to secure the window closed; it slid open and closed easily. Overall, the front desk employees were friendly and the lobby was very clean. Recommended for a place to lay your head and earn some points but next time I'm in the area I'll probably stay elsewhere.

My husband, mother-in-law, myself and our "grand dog" stayed at the Waldorf, Md Holiday Inn Express just prior to Christmas and checked out on Christmas day. We received very good service, the breakfast area was large, clean and the items served was a good variety and quality. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Friendly staff, clean large rooms. Breakfast buffet was very good; staff was there to oversee that all items offered were replenished.
I will not hesitate to stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Our second time and both were experiences have been good.

This hotel is located behind Pep Boys and Red Hot and Blue on the north side of 301 so look for sign between them. Conveniently located in the area of many major eating places. No upgrade due to heavy booking I was told so I stayed in rm 302. There seems to be a large amount of construction workers in the hotel.
The room has an in room safe which I thought would be a nice extra if you staying for a while, scan key access; super quick TV schedule. This room does not have a tub but an easy walk in shower. The room had a bathroom door which would not close and some mold in the shower surround under the caulk.
Housekeeping should have reported this to maintenance. I reported this to Jacintah at the desk and took Harold in maintenance to see the problems. Otherwise the room was very comfortable. I was especially impressed with Harold because he takes a really personal interest in the hotel and genuinely wants everything tidy and tight. I can believe he will take care of this problem. Jacintah gave me a trip advisor card to rate them. These are honest people. They have a small pool which Harold keeps at the warmest water at a hotel I have found. Really nice on a cold day. The exercise room has a good variety of equipment. They seem to know what people like and are striving to provide for them. Would highly recommend them.

Comfortable but non-smoking room smelled of old smoked. Needs carpets, curtains and walls cleaned to rid smoke smell. Bathroom adequate. Room very spacious.

I have stayed at this property several times over the past 3 months for work stays to include multiple day stays. The hotel is old and the carpet should be replaced but I was not looking to stay in the Willard I was looking for value. I was comfortable and it was quiet which is what I was looking for.
The main comment I would like to give is that GG, the night manager was outstanding. She has been there every night that I have been and has had my reservation waiting for me with the paperwork and ensured that any concern I had was addressed. She took care of a room that obviously has been smoked in by resettling me immediately and not arguing as in other properties. GG was always available and took care of missing things in the room from TP to towels again without a question. I know that his sounds like her job but she did it quickly, with a smile and often apologized and always asked if there was anything else that I needed.
I have been a Royal Ambassador and have been a Platinum Ambassador for several years, but I can say that this is the first time when given a choice between IHG properties I often chose this property because I knew that it would be quiet, have an adequate breakfast and the night staff would be totally professional and GG made that much of a difference. Cannot say that has ever happened before. I will be leaving this location and probably will not stay here again, but I wanted to say Bravo, GG on a job very well done.
