Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Breakfast selections We really try to use Holiday Inn Express' when we travel. The motel staff is always friendly, courteous, and helpful. We especially like the breakfast food selection and the quality of food available. We have used other motels, but we try to find a Holiday Express because they are just the best. May 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service The room was asthetically pleasing and all appliances were conviently placed. Two people could get dressed without bumping into one another. The bathroom was large and spacious, with grip bars for entering and exiting the tub safely. The breakfast was the best experienced on this road trip. May 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Last stop on trip home This was our second time at this Holiday Inn Express in Walterboro. Since we had been there before we had no trouble finding it but the only sign on I-95 was a billboard telling you which exit to take but once off the exit there was no sign telling you to go left!! Would mean driving around a bit if you aren't familiar with the hotel. Once there we checked in quickly, helped ourselves to the huge supply of cookies (usually there is just a little plate of them) and noticed that this is the only Holiday Inn Express we have been to that allows you to go into the breakfast room and get coffee! After a long drive, this was wonderful. The room was very nice, the bed was so comfortable, and we had a first floor room! We had unpacked everything, went to use the bathroom and there was a used towel on the back of the bathroom door. We left it there, told the desk who offered to give us another room but we declined. Everything else was fine, Breakfast was so good, as usual. Always love Holiday Inn Express! May 1, 2015

We always stay at HIX when traveling, especially on our way to and from FL every year because we anticipate clean hallways, clean rooms, etc. However, this one fell short of our expectations both on the way down to FL and then our recent return. Hairdryer only blew cold air. April 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay I arrived there after a long drive from Florida. The traffic was very slow going, needlessly to say I was very tired. I had a very quick check-in process. I was given directions to a close by restaurant. The television cable was repaired while I was having dinner, so I was able to watch my favorite TV show. Next morning I had a good breakfast. The staff was not informed about the hotel being full with everyone traveling at this time of year, so food was not quite ready at 6;30 am. That was the only problem I observed for some travelers. I was an excellent stay for me. April 28, 2015
