Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable home away from home My husband and I were quite exhausted when we arrrived at your Hotel but we were greeted by a friendly desk clerk and within a few moments were in our beautifully clean and warm room. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, best coffee I've had in a while. We have been guests of the Holiday Inn Express for the past six years at Christmas time and have never been disappointed. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Worth the Cost Recently, I stayed at the hotel because of a business trip. I was not happy with the price of my stay. I checked into the hotel around 7pm and left by 8 am the next morning. They price was way too much! I am not happy with how much the room costed me for the short time i was there. The bathrooms are way too small, and there is no hair dryer for your convince. I wish the staff had offered me some discount off for my short stay, I will not be staying at this hotel again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed. dirty room. this was definitely the absolutely worst holiday inn express we have ever stayed at. there was a bowl of pineapple in our window that I did not discover until checkout day when I opened up the curtains to let in some light. the toilet was very loud. the t.v. had constant flickering. there was construction outside the window, which was not terrible however it just adds to the overall negative experience. the breakfast was terrible. food was tasteless and the options limited. also there was a bottle cap and a lotion bottle behind the dresser that was not ours. just a disappointing experience. however, quite memorable that is for sure. hopefully this will change when the renovations are complete. This was a cheap hotel for the area, I wonder if that is a discounted price due to the construction? however you should definitely have a conversation with the cleaning staff as their efforts were poor. I left a tip but took it back when I found the pineapple. that was absolutely disgusting. on a positive note, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well. December 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small and inconvenient bathroom The bathroom is quite small, with a very low toilet that's tough on older people and with a toilet paper holder located so one needs to be a bit of a contortionist to reach it, especially tough on guests with a bad left shoulder. Also, like most hotel rooms there is only one luggage rack, so the other suitcase goes where? On the floor? On the dresser? The bed was comfortable, HVAC easy to adjust. We've stayed at this property many times and will come back again, but not to room 603. November 27, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable Anytime we can bring our family addition, our doggy, we have a great time! the rooms were clean( we got two rooms) one had a spider and housekeeping was not too fond of going back and rechecking our bathroom- she was pretty upset but for us, having our dog with us, we were not comfortable leaving our dog behind while we got a bite to eat- my mom cleaned the bathroom herself. breakfast was good but could have been better. Maria was awesome since we met her- she directed us to restaurants, was very informative and caring and smiley! November 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No value for money Way too small room. The bathroom counter top can't hold one toilet kit and the tissue holders falling off annoying every morning. For the similar price, I would get a min. 2-3 times the size room and much more amenities with a competitor or hotel in the same category. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Trip to Boston, MA We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Waltham, MA. The front desk personnel were courteous and helpful. We needed directions to the subway system and airport - they had it, we were looking for a restaurant in the area that served seafood - they knew were to go. Our room was fabulous! We were impressed with the quality of the room and to sweeten our stay they served breakfast, what a bonus! I will definitely be staying at Holiday Inn Expresses in the future. November 14, 2013

Transit access was pretty good and the hotel is located just off the I95 with free parking. The price was reasonable and included a decent breakfast. Worked well for us! October 20, 2013

The price is reasonable, the place is clean and comfortable, in a good location re Boston area especially if you have a car, friendly helpful staff, and complimentary coffee and breakfast stuff. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast left lots to be desired breakfast went till 10 am. on Sunday we arrived at 9 am. Eggs and sausage were cold. Pancake machine was empty. Cupcakes were gone. there was no sliced bread. I reported some of this to front desk. They did see that things were restocked but it took over 15 minutes. Other than this out stay was very nice. But the draw back is the traffic in the afternoon, which makes it almost impossible to drive around for more options of restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, etc. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance, though. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Two Comfortable Nights Friendly front desk- but we had to wait about 1/2 hour for our room to be ready. The rooms were comfortable- beds nice and clean sheets. The shower head was broken but when I asked them to fix it, they did by the time I returned later that evening. There is a nice laundry and small but adequate work out room. Breakfast was good with variety or hot and cold-egg omelets, muffins and cereals and juices. September 9, 2013
