We only stayed one Saturday night and just about everything was excellent. The only thing I could fault was the breakfast service. The hotel was really busy and there were only 2 members of staff to look after reception, keep the tables clean and keep the breakfast items, food, plates and cutlery fully stocked, which meant some waiting around. Also people had to wait for the empty tables to be cleaned before sitting down. The 2 members of staff who were on duty worked really hard to keep on top of things, but a couple of young people employed at breakfast times would make this a 5/5 hotel. I visit this area regularly and will definitely stay here again.

Receiving staff were very helpful and friendly.
We had a 2 night stay, which was booked under 2 seperate bookings. On the second evening trying to get back into our room our key had been de-validated. This was Incrediably inconvenient and lack of customer service forsight. Unprofessional.
All the paperwork could have been completed on the initial receiving of us as we had requested the same room as it was clear we were staying 2 nights.
Although all our other comments and thoughts are extremely positive and happy, however for this reason only, I will strongly consider whether to return to a Holiday Inn Express.
Such a shame as such a simple oversight has tarnish our thoughts of this brand.

When you book 2 rooms for a weekend away, you expect to get 2 rooms without question. Instead the staff booked one set of guests into their room then sold on the 2nd room to another guest that was nothing to do with our party.
It was sorted out because they had a spare room but it didn't mean our party was not made to wait and while it was all sorted out.
Not the best of service, Though making mistakes is only human, this is real basics - if 2 rooms are booked you actually want 2 rooms!

The checking process was easy and fast.
Room was clean and staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast service was decent, prompt and quickly replenished.
The beds in the room were done well. Room heating control didn't function very well, but being a small ( typical express size room) room it didn't, create much problem.
Not sure why this location charges for parking as it is quite far from city, more close to m40 than the city, but it's only 3£.
For dinner be prepared to travel back to city, the local bar next to it is awful.

This was a wonderful experience. From the time we arrived to the time we left the service from the staff was friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds.
The cherry on top was the great breakfast that was included in the budget beating tariff.
Overall a value for money stay away from home.

We stayed one night which was ok for the price however breakfast wasnt great and if you need warm milk, you have to walk across to the other side of reception to warm it yourself - their reason was due to Health and Safety reasons....????:-(

Hotel was good and staff were very helpful, but was quite surprised when I went to my room only to find a lady already in it! This must have been quite alarming for her to have another guest opening her door. When I returned to reception there was another guest with the same problem. The manager sorted the mix up out quickly and efficiently, and also promised to apologise to the guest I walked in on. Unfortunately, as a lone female traveller myself, I found it quite hard to relax in my room as I was worried it may happen to me too. I have stayed in Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses before and never had a bad experience before so hopefully this was just a bad day! On the plus side, I arrived at the same time as a bus load of schoolchildren (my heart sank) but I can honestly say that I was not disturbed by them either in the night or at breakfast the next morning. I will stay at Holiday Inns again as I have had such good experiences in the past that I trust this to be a one off.

a good hotel for an overnight stop in the Warwick/Stratford area. Clean and comfortable with good selection of food for breakfast. It is a shame that there is no restaurant, or bar food available. There is a pub next door but unfortunately we could not use this as we had the family dog with us on this trip and although allowed in the hotel, she was not allowed in the pub. We ended up ordering a take away pizza and eating it in our room which was ok but did make me wonder why they could not manage a very basic bar menu if they have the facilities to provide breakfast for the guests. Overall a good stopping off point if you are visiting the area and I would use it again.

Before I booked the Holiday Inn I did many searches to get good value for money, and I must say both my wife and I were not disappointed.
Patrick on the front desk in particular was excellent and he made us feel welcome from the first moment we stepped inside, and the other staff members we dealt with were very good to.
We will be going back to the area after Xmas and staying at this Holiday Inn, they are very good value for money the place is very clean and the breakfast second to none.

I was immediately impressed with the size and comfort of the room, with the double bed and sofa bed, which was very comfy to work on with my laptop. The room was well cleaned and well presented. The TV and choice of channels was more than adequate and there was plenty of different types of lighting to choose from. Tea and Coffee also there, though a little limited and with no buscuits. The shower was lovely.
On the negative side, I found the room to be quite cold even though I had increased the air-con temperature. It seemed to heat the area immediately in front of the unit, but not the whole room (though this could be to do with my lack of patience with tech like this). Also, and the most annoying thing, was that the room wasn't well sound insulated. You could hear people in the next rooms quite easily, but particularly people walking or running up and down the hall. There was also a Dog barking in one of the rooms! Oh, and the breakfast wasn't that nice I'm afraid...
I was tired enough that I was able to get to sleep, but light sleepers may need earplugs.

Although our room overlooked the M40, we never heard a thing. Staff were excellent - very welcoming and friendly. Good choice of foods for breakfast. Only negative was having to pay to use the hotel's own car park otherwise a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!!

Staff are extremely helpful, accommodating and polite. I forgot to mention my husband has difficulty walking and I asked if we could change our room. They worked hard considering the hotel was almost full they managed to get us a room near the lift. Very good nights stay. The beds on the other hand are not the comfiest which is a shame because it's the only thing that let our stay at the hotel down.

The room was clean and tidy with an excellent shower. However the breakfast was extremely disappointing. There was a poor selection of cereals and fruit juices and the scrambled eggs were swimming in water. No fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes or hash browns were on offer.

The thing that sets this Holiday Inn Express apart from many other hotels in this group is the staff. They are extreemely polite & professional but also friendly with a desire to make your stay the best it could be.

Irritating that three out of four door cards had to be replaced over our two day stay.
Otherwise a very pleasant and convenient sojourn for visiting the local tourist attractions.
Car parking charge came as a bit of a surprise on the invoice. Need to make sure it is clearly shown as an extra on the website. Not many folk walking to the hotel sans wheels.

This hotel is right next to the M40 and I was very pleasantly surprised that I didn't hear a thing, very well insulated rooms. Cannot fault the hotel. Friendly staff, great customer service and nice breakfast..free as well!!

this hotel is excellent if you are visiting warwick castle. The hotel is literally just off the m40 and the castle is less than ten minutes further down the same road as the hotel. Breakfast was a bit hectic but we were pre-warned it would be busy between 9.00 - 10.00, staff coped very well especially Patrick who had chef's whites on but was clearing tables and then manning reception later, a real team player.

We have been coming to this hotel for 3 years and our latest stay will be the last. Firstly we were greeted by the reception staff who were very friendly however we were shocked to find that we now had to pay for parking but we were offered a free drink voucher for one person (we are a party of 4 so 1 drink voucher isn't that great). When we went to our room we were hit with the most disgusting smell in the stairwell, I can only describe it as drains. The smell also came out of the bathroom sink which then drifted into the bedroom.
We missed breakfast on the Saturday and I so wish we had done the same on the Sunday! We came downstairs at 9.45am and every single table was full of dirty pots (only 10 tables were occupied). There were no clean cups, clean glasses, cutlery, beans, bread, sausages, scrambled egg nothing. There were 3 staff working in the dining area and 2 of those had to man the front desk to deal with people checking out. We ask on several occasions for bread and it took 20minutes for somebody to bring the bread out, it was a major disappointment and it was absolutely disgusting. Many other guests were taking photos and complaining and I feel very let down!
