Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Busy Express Stayed here at the last minute and they kindly fitted me in as a Platinum member. Staff friendly and welcoming, room clean and pleasant. Good value and large bar area for a HIX. Not their problem but with Crufts on the hotel was packed but this created a good atmosphere. My only gripe is they apparently have removed Marmite from the breakfast display which I fail to understand why. marmite is a national treasure and surely the cost should not come into it. I will now take my own mini jar with me to start the day. March 22, 2014

The staff are excellent and are always willing to help at every opportunity. The rooms are always spotless. Although the hotel was full the breakfast staff coped wonderfully and all the food was kept well stocked up. March 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel.Great if you want to visit the castle We stayed here for the night,in preperation for going to Warwick castle the next day. When we arrived we were quite surprised with how smart it was,as we normally stay in Travelodges for trips such as this,and considering the price of the room, we were pleasantly surprised with how lovely the hotel looked. The receptionist was sort of friendly.....he welcomed us nicely but there was a rather snippy comment about our ' rather late' 7.30!Anyway,afterwards he was very helpful about where to go and how to get wifi etc. The room was very nice.We had read comments about the rooms being too small,but it was fine for the four of us.We were also grateful the sofa bed was already set up. We found the room clean and comfy,and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was a little noisy.But we just turned it off and it was fine. In the morning we went down to breakfast and found there was a large range of breakfast items and hot/cold drinks. The food was all really nice and replenished quickly. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again. March 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another great stay Once again we stayed at this great hotel just 2 weeks from the last stay, we enjoyed it so much we came back , the hotel is situated perfectly for visiting warwick and stratford plus the surounding country side . We rang before our stay and asked for the room which we had last time ... no problem , nothing is to much trouble for the staff . being right next to a restaurant was an added bonus , no having to get in the car to travel out for a meal and not being able to imbibe. we can recomend this hotel . well done to all the staff. Pizza at the bar? of the three options they only had one - plain cheese. With only three things on the menu you'd think they would have them. How hard can it be! Then theres Breakfast. Astonished how bad it was. No tables are layed out. Dirty tables as well. No Bacon at Breakfast - apparently its a Brand Decission. They decided we dont like Bacon anymore. Poor Coffee - Machine vend only. No fresh juice either. Sleep quality was average. Convienient location but no other reason to return. I will try elswhere next time. March 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel for the money I stay here regularly, I've tried other brand hotels in the Warwick area including the Holiday Inn Leamington Spa which is closer to where I work but the express is better, cleaner, better customer service and overall better customer experience. The staff are great and always respond to every request quickly and care about the service they deliver. All are excellent and while I don't normally single out individual staff where the whole team are of a excellent standard, Jack on the main desk did resolve an issue for me and also called me while I was in work to confirm it was sorted. I've stayed in many hotel chains and none of them were faultless, but The true measure of a team is how they respond to issues and resolve them. The team at this hotel are exceptional. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by lovely room, but ! Lovely hotel, nice and clean & new. Room was very nice. Ideal for two, but stopping as a family of 4, (only for 1 night though was a blessing) and having a sofa bed as well as a double bed in the room, made it very, very cramped. I have had a lot more room in other similar accommodation with the same room set up. Breakfast was a bit hectic. Very busy on a Sunday morning, limited seating & if you didn't stand and wait in a queue for the sausages to be re stocked, you missed them. As soon as they put them out, (only about 12 - 15 at a time) the first 3 or 4 people cleared them out. Scrambled egg was also too sloppy for me. The breakfast moan is being a bit picky. We had a good peaceful nights sleep with no noise or disturbance from anybody in a very nice room, but best if its only for 2. February 26, 2014

Unfortunetly the kids bagged the comfy double bed which left my husband and I on the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not very comfortable and very lumpy. Breakfast was superb and a great variety of foods to keep everyone happy. On check out we asked for our Stratford tour bus tickets as this was part of the package I booked. At first the staff were very unhelpful and just basically wanted us to go away. In the end they said we could get the company to ring them when we got to their office and they would confirm it was included. When we checked in we were told we could collect the tickets from the hotel, but on check out the staff did not know what we we were talking about. This needs sorting out. February 23, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ok for one night We stayed for one night after a visit to the NEC and it was just acceptable for this. The room was basic with a noisy heater and bath towels made of sand paper. We did not appreciate being woken at 7:45 by house keeping to clean the room and breakfast was poor with most of the hot food gone 8:45 when last call is 9:30. The staff seemed in a constant rush to clear up and refused to replace bacon and sausage because they were finishing in 45mins. We have stayed here before and were very pleased with the hotel, we will try somewhere else next time. February 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good all-rounder Weekend break - great location, just off the M40 and easy to get to Warwick and Stratford-U-A. Room was clean and comfortable - a little tired around the edges but nothing to put you off coming back. Good, spacious ground area for breakfast and the bar was fine for a drink in the eve. Staff very friendly. Only little snag was housekeeping not providing 2 sets of towels and me not realising until morning... Told reception, just to make sure they didn't think I had taken them home as a souvenir of our stay! February 20, 2014

Excellent communication via email, extremely helpful, friendly ,hardworking staff. Travel cot provided, large sofa bed and double bed, hairdryer, kettle etc and still plenty of room for the 5 of us. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and the staff kept the serving area clean and tidy and all rallied round to help. Great location for Warwick Castle and centre as well as Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa. Will definitely stay here again. February 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast service We only stayed one Saturday night and just about everything was excellent. The only thing I could fault was the breakfast service. The hotel was really busy and there were only 2 members of staff to look after reception, keep the tables clean and keep the breakfast items, food, plates and cutlery fully stocked, which meant some waiting around. Also people had to wait for the empty tables to be cleaned before sitting down. The 2 members of staff who were on duty worked really hard to keep on top of things, but a couple of young people employed at breakfast times would make this a 5/5 hotel. I visit this area regularly and will definitely stay here again. February 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great value for money Receiving staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a 2 night stay, which was booked under 2 seperate bookings. On the second evening trying to get back into our room our key had been de-validated. This was Incrediably inconvenient and lack of customer service forsight. Unprofessional. All the paperwork could have been completed on the initial receiving of us as we had requested the same room as it was clear we were staying 2 nights. Although all our other comments and thoughts are extremely positive and happy, however for this reason only, I will strongly consider whether to return to a Holiday Inn Express. Such a shame as such a simple oversight has tarnish our thoughts of this brand. January 30, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff errors When you book 2 rooms for a weekend away, you expect to get 2 rooms without question. Instead the staff booked one set of guests into their room then sold on the 2nd room to another guest that was nothing to do with our party. It was sorted out because they had a spare room but it didn't mean our party was not made to wait and while it was all sorted out. Not the best of service, Though making mistakes is only human, this is real basics - if 2 rooms are booked you actually want 2 rooms! January 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A decent express hotel The checking process was easy and fast. Room was clean and staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast service was decent, prompt and quickly replenished. The beds in the room were done well. Room heating control didn't function very well, but being a small ( typical express size room) room it didn't, create much problem. Not sure why this location charges for parking as it is quite far from city, more close to m40 than the city, but it's only 3£. For dinner be prepared to travel back to city, the local bar next to it is awful. January 3, 2014
