Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding stay. Check in wasn't until 3pm which was a bit late and meant I had to dash to the hotel between the wedding service and reception which was rather annoying. Car park fee applied to hotel guests, again annoying. Room carpet was stained. Shower had a curtain, rather nasty and old fashioned. Bed was clean and comfy. Breakfast room rather dirty, very busy, staff couldn't keep up with cleaning and clearing tables. Self serve area covered in spillages and stray hairs! Food tasted reconstituted. Would I stay again? The staff polite but very short staffed as they deal with checkins and the bar suufers from non attendance while this happens. A long wait while coaches arrive. The air condition leaked water dropping on to my bed around 3 in the morning and so had to rearrange the bed with a towel. reported the following day and was told it would be seen to. However the same problem happened again the following night. Breakfast was good and the rate was excellent for what we received. D.B .Leicestershire September 6, 2013

Also , not enough tables to serve breakfast and not enough staff to clear up. The staff that were working were running around like mad men trying to clear up . August 28, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, friendly & great value for money My partner & I stayed here for one night as we were going to Warwick Castle the following day, the room was spacious and clean. On arrival the staff at Reception were very friendly and helpful. Had a great nights sleep, even though the Hotel was fully booked there was no noise whatsoever, the view from the window was a lovely sight too as in the grounds were bunny rabbits which is a rare sight! The breakfast was good too, a great and wide choice, having the option of cold or hot. I would definitely give this 10 out of 10 and if we ever come to Warwick again, will stay here and will recommend this to friends and family. August 21, 2013

The only area that spoilt our stay was at breakfast when there were business meetings and there were a lot of people for these meetings taking up table spaces with their laptops and not having breakfast. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A good hotel - basic room Great value for money as room included breakfast too for all of the family (2 adults, 2 children). Room was basic - no wardrobe or drawers, just a rail to hang clothes on, however beds really comfy and a sofa was made up into a double bed for our children. Kettle with tea and coffee was a nice touch and a good sized TV. Shower was good but didn't like the one door for toilet and/or bathroom as you could see into toilet area through shower which was a little strange! Also could not find any plug sockets for charging phone - in the end had to unplug kettle and take turns to charge phone and tablet up. Breakfast was good, less choice than the standard Holiday Inn, but great for what we needed - a good selection of bread, cereal, sausage and egg etc. Staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive during breakfast time. Parking was £3 per night which was reasonable. Free Wifi was also very useful (although make sure laptop is charged before stay due to lack of plug sockets!) Overall, excellent location for Stratford area and a good value room. Will stay again. August 16, 2013

This year was more special as the pub is undergoing refurbishment and the food was dreadful. (THE PUB HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOTEL!) We approached the staff at the hotel and asked if we ordered takeaway could we eat in the bar area. The staff were very friendly and said this was no problem. The staff at your establishment made our fantastic family weekend very special. Massive thank you and please pass on how fabulous all the staff were. August 9, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location Stayed here for 2 nights to visit Warwick castle. Easy to find as just off the motorway. Service was very good,very clean rooms and quiet in evenings despite being full. Breakfast was well organised and advance warning is given of quiet and busy times. Hotel is very convenient for the castle. We chose to walk in which took 25min which we were glad of our decision as the queues to get into the car park were very long. Safe walk as footpath the whole way and well lit.. August 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value hotel spoiled by breakfast experience My husband, grandson & I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights last week whilst visiting Warwick Castle, and found the room and the hotel reception/bar area very relaxing. The Porridge Pot next door also provided an excellent carvery on our second night. Our stay was let down however by the breakfast which was not to standard. We usually eat a hot breakfast & were happy with the menu choices but on the first morning, the advertised sausages were not available. On the second morning, we had to wait half an hour for sausages and scrambled eggs to be cooked, toast & milk had to be requested as these had also run out, and tables had not been cleared. This was brought to staff attention but eventually I cleared a table myself to wait for breakfast in more comfort. Very disappointing and not what I've come to expect of Holiday Inn, which is normally my first choice when on vacation. I would not return to this hotel if revisiting the area. August 6, 2013
