I have stayed at this hotel before and have felt very comfortable and relaxed. Staff is great. Was very dissapointed that this stay their were dogs on my floor. Didn't know that they allowed dogs at this hotel. There were at least 3 and they were barking during the night....Will question if I would stay here again....Nice hotel but very disturbing that they allow dogs...

Stayed over New Year's Eve for wedding. Beauitifully decorated rooms which were very clean. Wonderful and friendly services upon check-in and great food at wedding and brunch the next day. Very impressed with facility!

I've stayed at this particular Crowne Plaza several times over the past few years when traveling on business. Usually, I’m quite happy with my room and its amenities, but this time I was incredibly surprised when it was missing some essentials.
When I first arrived, my room's circulation system was not working. No A/C, no fan. The staff promptly sent up an engineer who resolved the issue right away. So far so good, right?
All night long I tried to connect to WiFi, but I had no luck. No work got done that night except for the bit I could do on my phone via cellular network. In the morning, I turned on the TV and found that I had no cable, just a blank screen with “no signal” displayed. Then, I jumped into the shower, and nearly jumped back out because the water was very cold – barely lukewarm – I couldn’t do anything to get it to warm up to a reasonable temperature.
Upon checkout I told the front desk staff what had happened. No TV, no WiFi, no hot water, and I again mentioned that the A/C wasn’t working when I first arrived. They simply said “I’m so sorry” but offered nothing – not even a partial refund or a credit - nothing. If they had just made some kind of offer to make me feel like my pretty bad stay was recognized, I would have declined and felt a bit better. But, nothing. Not good business when there is a lot of competition out there for frequent travelers’ business.
After so many stays in that hotel, I likely won’t stay there again.

We checked in for our daughters wedding weekend and we were given a different room than we had booked. The staff immediately fixed this and gave us the correct room on the correct floor. Room was wonderful, bathroom was excellent with a double sink and a magnifying mirror! Bed was comfortable enough. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is there was no fridge or safe in the room.

I had a client come up from New York to work with me on her business for the day -- we reserved the Elms Boardroom and had lunch in Remington's.
Everything was perfect: the room atmosphere, the staff who brought tea, the restaurant staff, the lunch itself (my client is still raving over the pot roast dinner).
And, to ensure I was fresh for the meeting, I stayed the night before -- my room was perfect. The atmosphere in Alfred's was just as I'd hoped...quiet with attentive, but never hovering staff. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming. A home run all around!
Thanks for a great experience! I'll be back!

Stayed for my sister's wedding, was very happy with everything. The room was comfy, the staff was amazing! Would stay there again anytime, only neg thing was the air made alot of noise in the middle of the night....small price to pay for a nice cool room though. Thank you to everyone who made our very special event so wonderful!!!

There was blood on the sheets - unfortunately, not noticed before getting into bed. Looked like it happened recently (translation: not laundered) but the sheets weren't changed because the bed looked unused. Maid Service 101: check and change even if you don't think something is dirty. Front desk's response was 'That's disgusting.' However, they only refunded a minimal amount considering how much the stay cost. Not happy at all. The location isn't good - you really need to stay in Providence to have access to anything worthwhile since the transportation is less than useless if you use the shuttle and horribly expensive if you need to take a cab.

As a frequent traveler, this is one of my favorite hotels in the U.S.. It is clean, spacious, and inviting. Not only is it convenient to the Providence area, but it is also so close to all the wonders of New England--Boston, Cape Cod, Newport, and Foxwoods are all under an hour. It makes it a perfect travel hub. The personnel in every department go out of their way to accommodate. The restaurant manager, the staff at Alfred's, the concierge, the shuttle driver, the check-in staff, and everyone at the hotel were warm and friendly. The food is outstanding. It makes for a tough decision as to dine in the many wonderful area restaurants or just stay put in the hotel. I have stayed there on three separate occasions, and every visit gets better. My congratulations on a job well done, and thank you.

The lobby was stunning with beautiful huge lighting throughtout, open area's , easy access to restaurant and bar area. Best part was on 1/2 mile off I-95 !!!

The location is extremely convenient. The room was very large with a great king sized bed and large seating area with a big couch. There are two sinks along a long wall area and private toilet and bath area. The staff was very helpful. There was also a balcony.
The only negative was no place to get a newspaper.

My Husband and I have stayed at your hotel several times over the past four years. It has always been comfortable, clean and welcoming. I want to give a special thanks and recognition to two very important individuals on your staff. "Cara" at the front desk consistently goes out of her way to make guests feel welocome and important. She is unusually helpful, professional and cheery despite the time of day or circumstance. I actually feel relieved at check in when I see her at the front desk!
This past weekend, I left my iPad in my hotel room after check out (OOPS!) I called back to the front desk and the staff found my lost item (front desk and housekeeping). I am so grateful that your staff is very kind, thoughful and honest! We will continue to return!!

Our five night stay was a wonderful experience made possible by all of your employees that took care of our room, our breakfast, the buffet and banquet meals, and the ever present smile and greeting whenever we would pass by an employee throughout the building. Our time at the hotel was so nice - the people that work there were so friendly and accomodating. The hotel room was very comfortable and quiet - everything looked new! The bed was so comfortable - I slept like a baby. We brought our little Yorkie with us and everyone treated her as special guest! She was the center of attention when we walked into the lobby. I am always hesitant about bringing a dog because sometimes there is not the best welcome, but this was different. I would recommend this hotel with 5 stars and look forward to staying there again soon!
