While trying to go to sleep the room just above us was very noisy all night -- kept waking up to a continuous jumping on the floor -- I thought it would stop eventually -- but it continued. Told the front desk upon check-out and they said if I would have let them know, they would have taken care of it. Disappointed at the disrespect of other people. July 1, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Priced Better Than Jasper Nearby hotels get more expensive the closer you get to Holiday World. I needed a business night stay near Jasper and this was a 30 min drive from there. With gas prices who knows if I saved any money but at least I wasn't dealing with noise from families on vacation. There was a problem with my room so the nice lady at the front desk got me switched over to another with no problem. The breakfast was disappointing compared to other similar priced hotels and other HI Express'. Only a couple doughnut choices. Had to ask for milk. When she brought some out she only brought four 8 ounce cartons. It's a shame if it's a problem they have had with guest taking more than there fair share but with the limited food choices too I began to wonder. Usually this is how guest are treated at cheap hotels because of the clientele that those can bring but I was surprised to see that at HI Express. June 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would not stay again. This hotel is not up to IHG standards. I practically live in HIE's, and I believe this to be in the worst state of all I have stayed in. My room smelled of smoke badly and the humidity level in the room with the AC running was not normal. Something was definitely wrong. My coworker noticed the exact same thing. The desk mentioned that IHG was there earlier in the week and it did not go well. That's obvious. June 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Keep looking. Not the Holicay Inn Express I expected The lady working the front desk was not pleasant. She greeted us with "what are you doing?", no "Hi, "Welcome", "How may I help you?". We were obviously interrupting her time from her computer. The 3rd floor hallway had 3 fans, and our room had a strong musty odor. When we asked for a new room the desk clerk informed us that the fans are there because it gets hot up there in the summer. Our next room had a similar musty odor, but not as strong as the first room. Breakfast was terrible. I'd rather eat rice cakes. The milk was spoiled, the eggs were over cooked, the pancake machine made rubbery cakes, the biscuits were wet and the OJ was watered down. Please look elsewhere if you'd like to have a pleasant stay. On a brighter note the pillows were soft. June 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Baseball Regional the hotel had nice appearance and room appeared clean but when we entered, it was obvious that the previous occupants had smoked in the room. When we told the staff they said they had no more rooms and handed us a spray can to cover the smell. Didn't work. Even though there was a housekeeping staff standing there, we had to us the spray. Won't stay at that hotel again or recommend it. June 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away from Home My wife and I have stayed at this property a number of times in the past 6 months tending to family. Our most recent stay was to attend a funeral therefore I am writing about our overall experience during which time we had up to 4 rooms occupied. As for the staff you could not have asked for a more helpful and accommodating group. While things were a bit hectic for us at times they always treated us as if we were the only customers there. From breakfast to turn in at night every time we would pass the front desk they would ask if there was anything we needed. The rooms were neat and clean and everything was in working order. Housekeeping did a great job keeping up with us coming and going at all hours. Breakfast, when we had time to eat, was very good with great selection. Our family would like to thank Lori and her staff for helping us through this difficult time. June 2, 2015
