Property had only ONE elevator -- inadequate for the size of the property; a continual problem for both guests AND staff. No "firm" pillows, despite embrodery on the pillowcases. Bathroom sink's basin plug worked poorly, and the sink's spray nozzle was annoying. Dogs were allowed in breakfast area -- a big negative for people who don't care for other peoples' pets. Back of the hairdryer in the bathroom repetitively fell apart. No complementary cookies, nor Priority Club amenities upon check-in. Front desk clerk failed to note our request to stay an extra day in the hotel's system -- and we were locked out of our room one morning. No newspaper one morning -- though the manager DID promptly address/resolve the problem. Pricing was excessive for value received. Would not stay at this property again.

Amazing space in the suite and reasonable price. We have stayed here in the past in a regular room, but definitely enjoyed all the advantages to a suite this stay. Will stay with this next time we are in Hurricane.

We were in St. George to play golf and see the park. This was a convenient location...just a little out of the city center but convenient to restaurants and golf and the entrance to Zion. The hotel is new and clean and easy to get in and out of from the interstate.

Room was very comfortable & staff helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Seemed pricey, but it was spring-break weekend, so it was expected. Pool quite crowded as it is small for a motel with this many rooms in St. George. Surprised there was not a fan in the bathroom. Only real complaint was that after being told check-out time was 12:00 noon, we opted for one last swim. At 11:30 as we were making several trips to the car with our luggage, the key card was deactivated, or at least was no longer allowing us back in the outer door. We had to walk back to the front desk & then to our room 3 times to get everything loaded. Luckily, someone stayed back in the room each time to let us in as we were also denied access there. That was the only real negative to a great weekend.

earlier in the week I thought that I had made a reservation using my points for pay. I confirmed the information and clicked out of the site. Friday night I was checking for the reservation and there was none. Saturday went back on-line to check, called the hotel to see of they had gotten it. they had not. Called reservation line there were not points left and only a higher rate then I had seen during the week. Checked the internet again only the higher rate available. I made the reservation. When I got to the hotel I mentioned that I had tried to use my point for the stay and that I confirmed the room on line but no confirmation was received. The front desk was gracious and adjusted the rate to Senior rate which was very acceptable.

when we left my husband forgot his cigarettes and lighter in the room. he smokes outside when he takes the dogs out and didn't smoke in the room.. this hotel charged me $200 cause they say he must have smoked inside if the cigs were inside... I was never made aware of any such extra charges..didn't sign a smoking policy so the charge to my bank was a big surprise... I will never stay with them again... I think perhaps I will give up my platinum rewards card as well...

We are used to a friendly greeting at HIE with usually some little gift. This was missing at St George. Also the cost at St George was the most expensive of all the HIE hotels we stayed at on this trip. I think that we would avoid St George as a stopover place in the future.

The hotel and its staff are better than the majority of hotels I stay at. I am on the road 180 nights a year. I stay at many other properties and this is one of my favorite places to stay. For the price and level service/amenities this is my favorite.

As priority club members, we were upgraded to a suite, which was wonderful, including the fireplace and balcony! We enjoyed the hot tub by the pool too. Thank you for the great experience!! We will be back!!!

We were on a 11 day vacation, we stayed at 3 different Holidays Inn Express Hotels. All of their Hotels were outstanding. The staff at all of them ( All 3 were in different states ) were outstanding. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Their rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We won't be staying anywhere accept Holiday Inns from now on. Wish we had tried them out first. They are the Best. And thanks to all who made our vacation so relaxing and so comfortable. I so hope you are located any where we choose to travel. This is a newer property, with clean rooms and spectacular reviews.
I will be staying here again when my travels take me past on I-15.
There needs to be better signage for this hotel as you could easily never know it was there.

This hotel is amazing! The front desk staff were extremely helpful upon my arrival and made me feel at home. The general manager was very welcoming. The bed was super comfy and pillows were great. I was able to relax and use the internet to watch my shows! I will return!

I could hear the people in the rooms next to mine (I would turn up the TV so I wouldn't listen to their conversation#. And the front lobby door was so noisy that it would wake me up in the middle of the night when it open and closed #and I was on the third floor); needless to say I was glad to go home to get some sleep.

The bathroom tub drain was severely clogged. When I reported the plumbing problem, I was told by the front desk that he would put in a work order for tomorrow’s repair because there was no serviceman on site. What about tonight! There was no offering of any solution other than “tough it through” attitude.
Since it was late in the evening and we had no other hotel reservation, we reluctantly stayed. To deal with overflowing problem, we intermittently shutted off the faucet during our shower just to prevent a flooded bathroom which would have sipped into the living area which would have made the situation worst. What a horrible night. We had stayed in the Holiday Inn Express facility before, but it appeared the facility had deteriorated. What a disappointment.

The hotel is very clean and quite. The staff very polite and helpful. However the location of the hotel is somewhat inconvenient due to there being no restaurants close by. The nearest is approximately 10 minutes. After driving for 5 hours the last thing we wanted to do was to have to drive to a restaurant and then back to hotel.

I travel all through Southern Utah on a monthly basis for work. In each city I travel to there are many hotels and also Holliday Inns. Beaver, Cedar City, St. George, Mesquite, Etc. I always stay at this Holliday Inn and travel to each city I am going to be in that day and travel back. This place is that good. Pass all others and stay here. You will not be diapointed!

I can say that this hotel must be the cleanest Holiday Inn I've stayed in years...you can just tell by the time you go inside the lobby and check in....I have no complaints and will definitely stay here again when we go back and visit Zion National Park.

Visitied on Thanksgiving, arrived after midnight due to a long drive from Los Angeles after work. Yuvette at the front desk welcomed us brining great comfort to our stay. A no stress and quick check in, good directions to our room, and a beautifully furnished room awaited. The room reminded me of a craftsman style lodge, beautiful light fixtures, granite sinks, warm craftsman lighting in the room. I couldn't believe this was a Holiday Inn Express, felt like an exclusive resort. Slept very well, energized for anothe full day of driving, We enjoyed breakfast among friendly guests and employees. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again, would love to stay a couple days next time as the scenery here is beautiful, the sunrise was stunning from the breakfast room.

The room was quiet and comfortable, but the temperature in the building in general was too warm. There was also a mixup in issuing the keys, and another guest was given a key to the room after we checked in. He entered the room while we were getting settled. Later our keys would not work, and we needed to go back to the front desk to have them reissued.
In addition, there is no dining within several miles of the hotel requiring transportation, and a drive to Hurricane or St. George.
Convenient on and off the freeway (I-15).

As do many, I travel extensively for both business and personal reasons. Further, I stay in a wide variety of hotels around the world. For the remote area of southern Utah/northern Arizona, this particular property is the cleanest, most comfortable hotel around.
I own two businesses in the area and travel to the St. George area approximately 10-days per month. I always stay at the St. George North-Zion property. Need I say more. I'm more OCD than 'Monk' and this place delivers every single time.
Recently, I mentioned to the desk clerk while departing that the showerhead was not operating properly. On my next visit, I happened to stay in the same room and the showerhead had been completely replaced and worked perfectly.

This hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed in the breakfast. There was not much selection compared to previous stays at Holiday Inn express locations. Also I admit that we are coffee snobs and the coffee at breakfast and in the room was below standard. Your staff was extremely helpful and friendly and when in the area we would stay at your location again!

This was our last hotel stay as we traversed the country East to West. In comparison to several other Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express hotels we stayed in, this was far and away the best experience. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel is clean. The location appears safe and secure. The rooms were excellent, save noise from the a/c unit (too loud). And, while all Holidays advertised having bananas, eggs, and sausage for breakfast, this hotel had them all! If you visit the area, make sure you try The Grizzly Bear Diner in St. George for a meal. And, be hungry when you do!
