Staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. Location is a little further out of town but right off of 9 if you are headed into Zion Ntl Park. Breakfast was great and table area was clean. Great shower and linens for a good nights rest.

We liked the location and the breakfast was good, but we had to ask for our room to be serviced. We also did not receive the newspaper as I usually do.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scorch2 Great service
After a very comfortable night at the hotel, I had a large truckload of personal goods that needed to be offloaded into a storage unit. Knowing I wouldn't be able to finish before my normal checkout time, I inquired at the desk if I might be granted a late checkout in order to allow me to return and shower after unloading the truck. Even though the hotel was full and very busy, the desk person immediately granted me a delayed checkout. I unloaded my truck, returned later to the hotel, took a nice shower, cleaned up, and went on my way refreshed. Very accommodating staff. Great service. Thank you.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Teddytoo Too expensive for just a room
This is a nice hotel where we stayed last year. However, it's way too expensive for just a room. There were huge numbers of traveling sports teams this year. Great for the hotel, but not my needs. I only stay here for pool and the included breakfast. But for both stays this year, we couldn't swim due to huge numbers of kids using it till 11 PM. On return trip, we were put in room right by pool. Despite 2 doors to pool, we heard screaming kids until after 11 PM. Then, there was no room in breakfast area to eat, which was packed with kids and families, and I kept checking for available space over an hour and a half. No coffee (all used already). You need more breakfast staff when hotel is filled. And a suggestion is to have 10-11 PM as adults-only swim time, which would cut down on noise. Although this hotel is nice, it's way too expensive for just a room.

We have become accustomed to the HIE breakfast of eggs, biscuit, sausage and....gravy. No gravy at this HIE...otherwise AOK.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KChase Excellent service, awesome accommodations
We had an amazing stay at the St.George/Zion Holiday Inn Express. The room was immaculate, beds comfortable and the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We really could not have asked for more.
I had stayed at this hotel one time previously, about 2 years ago, and thought it was great then. But that stay had been at the end of a long outdoor adventure and I thought that maybe my positive reaction was just because we had soft beds, warm water and air conditioning. But this recent stay exceeded all expectations. Thanks so much!

We had a really nice room and the price was very attractive. Unfortunately, we found 4 cockraoches in our room and none of us got a good nights rest because that is all we thought about. Hotel management offered to move us to a different room and we turned them down. Wished I would of took them up on it!

Because of my rewards status, I was upgraded to a larger room upon my arrival. It was wonderful. Clean and comfortable, nice balcony with a great view of the mountains. The hotel staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the area. I travel for a living and this was one of my best experiences yet.

I was ackowledged straight away as a platinum member, and offered a fabulous upgrade.
The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable on the local area and took the time to chat to me and offer suggestions etc. this was a really nice touch.
The breakfasts are really nice, well presented and hot and fresh. I can tell that the management of this hotel have trained the staff to a very high standard regarding customer service and room cleanliness.
Highly recommended !

Excellent and clean hotel. Looks like it is nearly brand new. Breakfast was the ordinary HI Express type. Best thing about this hotel was how clean it is. Comfortable beds as well.

My family and I arrived in the afternoon to find that we had been upgraded for no additional cost!
We stay at Holiday Inn Expresses each year when we vacation. The free breakfasts help defer meal costs for the day with a wide selection of healthy breakfast options.
After staying in the 2 bedroom king suite I think we may opt for this in the future. It was a truly comfortable and spacious room.
Thanks for a great experience!

This property is new and is really located in Washington, Utah not St. George . The location makes outside dining a bit of a hassle (back on the interstate, into St. George etc). Breakfast area is a plus, bright and pleasant and the staff was especially nice and helpful. Everything good but location a slight downer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SheptheMan Great service - staff was very accommodating.
We were very pleased. The rooms were great, the location is perfect. Not in the middle of the hustle & bustle of St George on Memorial Day. Whoever thought that St George would be hustle and bustle?

Although we only stayed for one night after a long weeks trip to So. Utah, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was great and the hotel quiet. We left early (4am) so we can't comment on the breakfast but it did look comparable to other HIE we stayed while traveling. I highly recommend this hotel and the only downside is there's no place to have dinner or lunch unless you drive to St. George.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kwilso48 Great staff and quiet location!
Here for my daughters graduation, had a noise issue the first night which was remedied immediately by getting us a different room (although I hated to give up the jetted tub!). The bed and pillows were very comfy and the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were very accommodating. Will return!

Our suite was very comfortable and well-decorated. Unfortunately it was adjacent to the exit door which woke us up several times. It slams with a big bang and alerted us to the fact that we shouldn't take a room next to an exit, elevator, bathroom, or ice machine.

To start desk staff was like family welcoming us into their guest room. The room, spa, pool, and we can't forget the pancake machine at breakfast was all great. The pillows were so fluffy and perfect I ordered them online, we could have got the firm pillows. Naaahhh... :-) Great folks taking care of our needs, super clean hotel in every way.

Most of the Holiday Express give some recognition to priority members at checkin. Not here. We stayed at three Holiday Express during the trip( I assume they are not considered competitors) and this one lacked all the greetings the others provided. No cookies, no water to members. Some small apples were in a bowl, since this was our second time here I took six because last time I found some that were rotten and I wanted to see if they improved. Two rotten ones, one soft but not yet rotten, three OK but not great. Nice room.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mouse189 We LOVE the St. George Holiday Inn Express
While visiting southern Utah we always stay at the HIE just north of St. George in Washington City. This is one of the few hotels where the staff takes the time to greet you and inquire of your stay. The rooms are always well maintained, the staff is friendly and the breakfast - with the fantastic mountain views from the dining room - is the perfect way to start the day. In fact, over the years we felt so welcome and comfortable at this HIE, that we recently moved to St. George from Indiana.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by GeorgeandVern Not a happy experience overall
Property had only ONE elevator -- inadequate for the size of the property; a continual problem for both guests AND staff. No "firm" pillows, despite embrodery on the pillowcases. Bathroom sink's basin plug worked poorly, and the sink's spray nozzle was annoying. Dogs were allowed in breakfast area -- a big negative for people who don't care for other peoples' pets. Back of the hairdryer in the bathroom repetitively fell apart. No complementary cookies, nor Priority Club amenities upon check-in. Front desk clerk failed to note our request to stay an extra day in the hotel's system -- and we were locked out of our room one morning. No newspaper one morning -- though the manager DID promptly address/resolve the problem. Pricing was excessive for value received. Would not stay at this property again.

Amazing space in the suite and reasonable price. We have stayed here in the past in a regular room, but definitely enjoyed all the advantages to a suite this stay. Will stay with this next time we are in Hurricane.

We were in St. George to play golf and see the park. This was a convenient location...just a little out of the city center but convenient to restaurants and golf and the entrance to Zion. The hotel is new and clean and easy to get in and out of from the interstate.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 79Grandma Nice weekend stay.
Room was very comfortable & staff helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Seemed pricey, but it was spring-break weekend, so it was expected. Pool quite crowded as it is small for a motel with this many rooms in St. George. Surprised there was not a fan in the bathroom. Only real complaint was that after being told check-out time was 12:00 noon, we opted for one last swim. At 11:30 as we were making several trips to the car with our luggage, the key card was deactivated, or at least was no longer allowing us back in the outer door. We had to walk back to the front desk & then to our room 3 times to get everything loaded. Luckily, someone stayed back in the room each time to let us in as we were also denied access there. That was the only real negative to a great weekend.
