Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful front desk and clean, nice hotel Me and 2 friends stayed for one night. We were seeing Kelly Clarkson in concert at the DTE Energy Music Theater or Pine Knob as the locals still call it. We had never been to Waterford, MI or to the DTE so we asked Adam, the front desk clerk a lot of questions and he was very helpful and patient with us. Check in was very easy and fast and our room was very clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable and fit 2 people comfortably. We didn't take a shower at the hotel, but the bathroom was clean and the shower looked nice. Our room also had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the DTE and it was easy to drive there and back to the hotel after the concert. They do have a shuttle service, but there was no driver available that night. Breakfast was good, and they supply a variety of choices. The hotel has a pool, and a fitness center but we did not use them. Check out was also very easy and fast. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel, is there was a used coffee filter left in the coffee maker in our room when we arrived. We just threw it away. If we go to another concert at the DTE I will definitely book this hotel again for our stay. July 30, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Need to Upgrade Wi-FI, Please Staff and room were above the line. Check-in was excellent, and the staff member was friendly and attentive to detail. My only real complaint is the Wi-Fi is horrible. For being as close to some main businesses this needs to improve. I cannot suggest this hotel based on this issue. July 28, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor Internet, No FSD Tigers I called down to complain about the Internet access which was registering on a speed test < 100K. (not 10MB, not 1MB, but 1/10th of 1MB. About the speed of a 56Kbps modem) The front desk said it was "we are full and everyone is on, but I can reset it". As an IT consultant that doesn't make sense. If it is slow because everyone is on, resetting it will not increase it the speed except that it temporarily knocks everyone off. They reset it and it was no better all night! I had to use my cell phone and used up all my data charges. I went to turn on the TV to watch the ball game....no FSD on the channel list, no Detroit Tigers, no Redwings, no Pistons. No way! Room was fine. Staff was slow but ok. The breakfast was like most every other. I just was upset mostly about the Internet. July 26, 2015
