Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not normal HIE experience I don't know if it is because this hotel is owned by a person instead of a company, but I had a very bad stay with my father here. I am Spire Elite member (just started staying last 7 mos with HIE, so that tells you how much I travel), Had 2 separate Customer Service POOR experiences--one was when we arrived that evening and my 80yr old father went down to the lobby and had some pancakes and asked for more batter (machine was low) and the desk attendant pointed to their watch and snappily said NO, it's midnight. I fell into the middle of the bed, as there was a big crater in the mattress which I told them about in the morning when I tried to check out. The second was when I went to check out in the morning and asked the clerk to be SURE to check me out so I could get the twenty dollars per hold per room off my debit card they took the night before for "incidentals" (it's the principal of the thing, not the money) and this purple wrinkled shirt kid tells me there is no money taken out of my debit card. I said YES, they put a hold on my debit card and he said NO, they don't. I had to leave for an appointment but i told him I could show him the deductions on my phone with my bank app, but since he didn't want to listen and only argue with me, it wasn't worth my time and I WOULD NEVER BE BACK. The absolute worst part of this whole event was that I did not want to use this public forum, so I found out who the owner was and emailed this information to them of my concerns and the staff attitude. I copied the hotel as well. It's been a month now and I HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. So here it is. Horrible Service, Uncaring Management and Bad Beds. Don't stay here if you can help it, or understand that you will get crass, argumentative people along the way. Not comfortable at all. September 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Staff Not Very Friendly Front desk clerks are not very friendly or accommodating at this hotel. Had a problem during the middle of the night and the front desk clerk barely apologized for the noise in the hallway at 4:30 in the morning by other hotel employees. Doors to the rooms at this hotel are paper thin can hear even normal talking in the hallway. September 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff, Clean room. Staff was all friendly and the facility was clean. Dining nearby was great and within walking distance. Breakfast room was clean and staff was very attentive but they should have scheduled a second person to help. All in all I would stay at this location again. September 17, 2015
