When the room staff go out of their way to do special things to your bed in design and the front desk saves special things when they know you are on your way. Now how welcome does that make you feel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a Great Experience The property is very nice and located near a number of restuarants as well as shopping. That was the good news. The bad was that our room was on the interstate side and had fairly high noise level making it difficult to sleep. And then at around 2:30 am we were awoken by the family in the next room. TV level was beyonf loud, kids were screaming and adults were talking very loud. Called the front desk to complain and they said they would send someone up. 30 minutes later we called the front desk again to indicated the noise level had not gone down. Kids screaming stopped, but TV level was still high and adults still loud. After another 15 minutes, I wnt to the front desk to ask for another room which after a little hesitation did happen and we packed up and moved. (Although not a normal occurance, we had this happen one other time while staying at a different chain and they were much more proactive. They immediately moved us and did not charge us for that night.) Here not as proactive. They did reduce the nightly rate by by about 1/3. October 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best place to stay in Watertown We visit the 1000 Island / Watertown area every fall for a little getaway before winter sets in. We do some shopping and feel our car is very safe in the parking lot. We like all the dinning options within close reach if we have some wine with our meal. From the phone call to reserve the room through check out the next morning it was a very positive experience. The linens and bedding were superior to the big name, higher priced hotel in Montreal, our destination. We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to other travelers. It is also easy on and off 81 and has several places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. October 15, 2014
