I'm a fan of the Holiday Inn Express brand over the past couple of years. I stay often at one in Oakville ON and at other places in the States and always find that the brand standards are well-maintained for the most part. I was most pleasantly surprised by my Watertown stay, but in particular with both my check in and check out desk staff. I would absolutely make a first call to HI Express in your city again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Watertown and area. The selection of a hotel that would meet our needs was a big part. We would like to thank the staff for their friendly way in which they helped us enjoy our visit.

This operation does things right! They have a soup greeting from 5 to 6PM certain days, they gave me an added discount for being an AARP member, I was there on 5/16/2013...one of the most beautiful days ever in Watertown NY. One word of caution...you need to ask for the side away from the highway if rod noise bothers you...I 81 is right there on top of the hotel. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Watertown, NY was wonderful. My room was exceptionally clean and fresh. Thank you, Melissa! The folks at the front desk were so helpful throughout my stay. I was a bit unsure of my dirving directions to Fort Drum from the Holiday Inn and a very kind receptionist actually gave me her card to call her if I got lost on the way and needed further directions!
The friendliness and professionalism of the staff that I met during my staff renews my faith in man kind.
Again, thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The Holiday Inn Corp office should be very proud of the service that you provide.

First time we stayed at this location, the staff was great and the rooms very clean. We had to leave early so we missed the breakfast buffet but they sent us on our way with breakfast in a bag. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The outdoor fire pit was a bonus and the kids had a blast in the pool. We all enjoyed breakfast after a good night's sleep. My only complaint would be the reservation folks took my reservation and then passed me on to a sales rep trying to entice me in to a timeshare. I really thought that was in poor taste. It was very difficult to get her off the phone and I thought it was tacky, I called to make a reservation at your hotel and you tried to push something else on me - just felt wrong to me. The salesperson was quite good at her job, I actually felt guilty when I finally got her off the phone because I wasn't taking part in the offer. Perhaps you could give out brochures upon arrival or something to market that option - was it necessary to hound me when I called your people for a service. The fellow who took my reservation said he was putting me through for a bonus offer - I had no idea what it meant and he didn't ask me if I wanted to be put through. Anyway I'll know better next time and won't waste an extra 15 minutes of my time.

We use this locations as a get-a-way for the girls, it's perfect location for us to meet. Two from Northern Ontario, one Belleville Ontario and one from Montreal Quebec.
We have always loved the Holiday Inn express but this one is really excellent and staff so nice and helpful

Thank you Holiday Inn Express for providing wheel chair accessible rooms without jacking up the price. It's hard enough for handicapped people without having their disability robbed for a hotel room. Needed a cot and it was as comfortable as a proper bed.

We found our stay very enjoyable . The staff was more then helpful with information and services. We came with our children and the comfort of a small fridge and microwave help greatly. We would recommend this to anyone.

Overall very good, however, as written on the returned questionare.... left room at 1:30 PM to go to a wedding; returned at approx. 9 - 9:30 PM and the room had still not been serviced.
Decided not to call / wait for service... luckily had saved towels from nite before. Disappointing.

We did not get to experience the full spectrum of the offerings available to us such as the gym or the free breakfast but we just did not have the time. I was very pleased with everything about our stay in this fairly new Hotel including the cleanliness, friendliness, coffee and fridge in the room, the comfortable bed, the Jacuzzi tub, the free toiletry items, and helpful staff. We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and we came back to fine a chilling bottle of complimentary Champaign. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Thank you Holiday Inn Express. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was beautiful. Very relaxing, comfortable......very enjoyable and worth every penny. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. Breakfast was yummy. A nice place to stay whether you are just passing through or in Watertown for a few days.

Stayed in this hotel the night before Easter. One night stay in a king suite. The staff at check in was friendly and efficient, just a pleasure to deal with. Once in our room we found a bag of goodies, we are gold level Priority Club members. The bag contained water, cookies, chips, salsa, salty snack bar and an orange. This property does appreciate the business of returning guests as well as Priority Club members. The room was fashionable furnished and spotlessly clean.
The complimentary breakfast was very good.
Additionally, upon check in guests receive 10% off at the restaurant located in the Hilton property which is immediately next door. There are additional restaurants within walking distance. Park the car and relax.
We highly recommend this property.

Everett and the staff made the difference here. They are the reason we rated this stay as an overall 10. Every encounter made with the staff, whether the front desk or housekeeping was a pleasurable experience. They were polite and helpful; it was evident they were concerned with our stay and our comfort. It was very refreshing to see such a professional group of employees!
Not to be too nitpicky, but we were disappointed that the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and/or a heat lamp installed. The pool was so dirty that we did not use it.

Nice facility and nice breakfast. Neighbors were a bit loud last night. Really suprised that a seek of stay does not earn anything more. Perhaps a breakfast or dinner, especially at the rate of each night.

So nice to spend another night at our favorite Holiday Inn on our way home from Myrtle Beach. There is always no room for improvement and the staff are warm, friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here many times and the quality of service has always been the best. Thanks again to Charlotte and her staff for another great visit. We have recommended this hotel to many friends and family and will continue to do so.

The staff was great - when I told them we were exhausted and would love a quiet room at check in, they moved us right away to the quieter side of the hotel (away from the highway noises) and to the top floor so no one would be above us. They found some snacks for my car-sick daughter in the kitchen and were willing and available for any help we would want.
Breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable and not dated. Great stay.

Stayed here only one night after crossing the border from Canada and needed to sleep before heading down the highway again in the USA. Friendly staff and clean hotel with extra added touches like mints on pillow, towel art and big breakfast area with plenty of choices. Easy exit off the highway.

The hotel is in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and helpul. Internet is not great but better than most. Snacks/soup available evenings and breakfast offer is very good. The reason for the low value score is the rewards program, It has downgraded to stop honoring bonus points towards maintaining status and raised the number of points to get free nights. The number of nights needed now to maintain status has lowered the value of being a member. I have been loyal for 8 yrs but corporately they don't care. But if you are not a reward member, this is a great hotel.

The room was clean on arrival & in good condition when we checked in late in the evening. The plug in the bathtub did not work unfortunately. The breakfast was typical of this hotel chain, nothing remarkable but okay for a fast bite. Kids enjoyed the pool. Close to the mall & other amenities.

This is one of the best places to stay for clean, comfortable rooms, being greeted at the front desk like an old friend back to visit. When you have to be away from home, this is definitely where you will want to stay. Used to look for best price, that's how I found this but not looking anymore, it is the best for your money.

We got caught in some terrible weather on I 81 and decided not to go back south. We picked the Holiday Inn Express because of our experience with the Holiday Inn name. We were not dissappointed at all. The staff was wonderful and very accomodating. They even had tooth brushes and tooth paste. The room was very comfortable and the bed was firm and we got a great night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was a surprise. Hot scrambled eggs, or an Omlet,, bacon, pancakes...all included in the room. We figured it would be coffee, a donut or a bagel. This was an unexpected pleasure. Hats off to the manager of this property. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean and neat as a pin.
