Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Deromi Noisy, poor breakfast, nowhere to change.
It was far too noisy, I was unable to sleep due to waking up all throughout the night due to noise within the hotel and the trains passing by close by. It would be suggested to fit triple glazing windows to reduce noise. I even had ear plugs in to reduce the noise but this did nothing. I had a very important interview the next day and due to my lack of sleep I feel I under performed. The breakfast was very poor compared to the offering of the Crowne Plaza that i'm used to. The eggs were still very much liquid, the sausages rubbery and the beans cold. All the pastries were over cooked and blackened so I didn't even try those. After my interview I wanted to change out of my clothes to travel back to Manchester in something more comfortable and was refused an area to get changed so had to change in the disabled toilets which were in a poor state and nobody should be expected to change in there. Not only this, a disabled customer was waiting outside the toilets for an extended time and began to berate me which was embarrassing in itself. I would never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again, which is disappointing as I often stay at Crowne Plaza and expected the Holiday Inn Express to meet similar standards.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BW15 Good Quality Service
As per every time I stay at the hotel, the staff are friendly well mannered and recognize regular guests at the hotel. Would recommend the hotel for both business and leisure if you would like to stay outside of London

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MikeInTheMidlands Room fine but food dreadful
No problem with the room or the standard of service, but breakfast was absolutely dreadful. It completely let down the whole stay. Sausages dripping fat, congealed baked beans and dry scrambled egg constituted an English breakfast (although not described as such). If only they could fix this, I would stay there again. It's very convenient for London Overground Station nearby.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I am Legion Hotel Stay
This is a run of the mill IHG hotel, staff were very friendly and the location was excellent for accessing public transport while allowing place to leave your car, the only downside is the car park is very small and spaces are not guaranteed.
If you are visiting Warner Brothers Studios for the Harry Potter Experience then this hotel is ideally placed for catching the 'knight' bus its a 2 min walk from the hotel.
All in all a pleasant stay with decent beer and decent food.

Would highly recommend for the weary business traveller. Comfortable, modern and a general sense of freshness. Great staff! Only comment is that in general (an not only in this hotel) I feel the Holiday Inn Express breakfast needs a little modernisation particularly on the continental side!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Forever Green Always a great stay
I have been meaning to write a review for a long time as I frequently stay at this hotel and it never fails to deliver.
The hotel is well located just two minutes’ walk from Watford Junction station and not far off the M25. As some reviewers might have mentioned the hotel does not have the biggest carpark in the world but several centrally located Watford hotels do not have a carpark at all, so this is a real benefit. My advice is to reverse in to the carpark - it makes it so much easier.
It can get very busy at the hotel and like most places seats are at a premium some breakfast times but because it is self-service the turnover is quick. As for breakfast it is the normal Holiday Inn Express selection.
The rooms and other area's of the hotel are always very clean and well maintained. The rooms themselves follow the normal Holiday Inn Express design and are comfortable – I think I have stayed in the majority of them!
I stay in many hotels in many different places and what makes this one stand out from the rest is the helpfulness

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lextal Stop over for WB Harry Potter Tour
This hotel is in a excellent location for quick trips into London and for picking up the shuttle bus to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. A very well maintained hotel, clean and perfect for a family stop over, particularly if travelling down by train.
