Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable Spent nights here on a business trip. Holiday Inn Express in Watsonville is on a busy street but the rooms are quiet. Everything is kept super clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. After working a long day away from home, I felt welcomed and relaxed at this hotel. My room even smelled fresh upon my return each day. GREAT JOB!! The staff are very helpful and able to answer my questions. I would recommend this hotel to business travelers. March 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and Spacious Indoor Pool A newer property in great shape. Staff all the way up to the general manager were friendly and helpful, and seemed sincere. The indoor pool and hot tub area is spacious. I'm sure it is a pleasant surprise for travellers who do not realize that central and northern California beach weather is not as warm as their southern cousins. January 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff!! Although I did not like the breakfast at all (no flavor), I totally enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Watsonville. The staff there is incredibly accomodating and thorough! Especially Rosa at the front desk! Give that girl a raise! I stayed there from March through most of December in 2012 and she made me feel like I was home. :) December 6, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow great visit We had a great visit the bed was firm but relaxing. The indoor heated pool was enjoyed by all. The breakfast was both dynamic and fulfilling. We will utilize your facility again. Only negative was that our room was near stairs back door and ice maker which all made it a bit noisy at times but nothing too extreme. Thanks! November 30, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best Stay in Watsonville - as long as you are not Telecommunicating I spend a great deal of time in Watsonville and have had the opportunity to stay almost everywhere in the area. The Price to Comfort/Cleanliness level is spectacular. Rooms are always clean, smell clean and appear updated (flat screen / DirectTv). The ONLY downside between H-Express and its competition - is the Network. If you want to telecommunicate or watch Hulu - forget about it. Bandwidth is awful, even when corded to the wall. Yes, I keep going back - I'm an asthmatic and I need a place that is clean and mildew free. H-Express is my home, several weeks a month. November 20, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Need new Desk Staff While our past experiences here have always been good... This time when we arrived, with in minutes of the 3pm check in time, We were told there were no clean rooms available and we would have to check back later. Seems odd since we had a reservation confirmed. Then when we used the public restrooms while waiting for a clean room to be available we both found the bathrooms to be unkempt and each had various things that were broken. The room we were given was in good condition and we had no issues with it. Sunday morning when my daughter and I went to swim in the pool we found large amounts of sand in the hot tub. and chunks of sand and dirt in the pool along with 3 sow bugs in the water. I collected on of the bugs in a cup and brought it to the front desk only to be told the pool is cleaned once a week on Mondays. So, just our luck to stay on a Sunday. Normally the staff are much more hospitable but this time we felt slighted and the issues we found were not handled at all. Just brushed off with excuses. October 21, 2012

The rooms are always clean, the cinnamon rolls are delicious, & breakfast is better than most other hotels offer. My last visit to the area, we stayed elsewhere to save money, and were very disappointed. October 5, 2012
