Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worn and Dirty The room was dirty and worn, found a soiled q-tip under the phone, Which made me think how clean was this room I was staying in. The caulking around the tub and shower surround looked like a 2 year old put it on. The carpet had cigarette burns. On a good note, the Staff was nice and friendly. Holliday Inn Express is my hotel of choice and this is by far the worst one that i have ever stayed in. February 7, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hope you don't want protein in your breakfast Overall the hotel was fine. I travel a great deal and it's a typical Holiday Inn Express. What I did find very irritating is that both days there was little breakfast choice. As someone who tries to eat more protein in the morning, I was very disappointed that on day 1, the eggs were gone by 7:10am and there were none being prepared and on day two (same time), no eggs were even offered. When I do travel back to the Wauwatosa area, I will likely look to stay elsewhere. December 12, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Filthy Room I stayed in Room 250 on the evening of 11/14/2012. The comedy of errors started when I checked in. As a priority club member I got to "spin the wheel" and get points or a bottle of water. My spin landed on a bottle of water which was okay because I was tired and thirsty. But, I was told by the man behind the desk, "Sorry, we're out of water." That was it, nothing else. So, I took my key and went up to my room. And was it ever filthy. The coffee pot had not been cleaned and still had the used coffee packet in the machine. There was something close to black sock lint all over the carpet and there was also a wire coat hanger laying in the middle of the room. Which was a little disconcerting considering you don't have wire coat hangers in your rooms. The bathroom was clean and the bed was clean and made so that was helpful. The trash cans still had a small amount of trash in them. I have stayed in your hotel many times and this was the first time I experienced this kind of service. VERY disappointed. November 20, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fair Experience I would rate my stay as fair with reservations. Our beds were not comfortable. Housekeeping with respect to our room was poor, it was dirty. Our room was cold until we realized that someone before us had left the window open! The carpet in the hallways was worn, it should be replaced. I guess it was ok for the money, but I would not stay here again. Sorry. November 2, 2012

We even had noisy neighbors in the room next to ours but you couldn't here them unless you were right outside of their door. Room was always cleaned and we pretty much stayed in when I wasn't out for work. Staff was nice and extremely helpful. October 26, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I am a platinum member and generally my stays are very comfortable. However, this hotel was a major disappointment. It started with mike at the front desk he was not very friendly when he saw me. He looked at me like I was a nuisance; almost rude. The room continued with my dismay. The towels were frayed (it had a hole in it(wow)), the bath tub plug was disgusting (I did not want to touch this rusty, germ infested plug, and to top it off the shower curtain had mildew build up...gross. The room number was 327. I hope your other rooms are not maintain in this order. I visit Milwaukee for business quite frequently and I need to make a mental note not to stay at this hotel ever again. The staff, particularly Carolyn, Sara, and Ann, are always welcoming to me as well as to all guests. The rooms are clean and I feel safe which is important to me since I travel alone. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Wisconsin Had to go to Milwaukee from Phoenix, AZ to do some work for 3 days. Travel is stressful at best, but the Holiday Inn chain makes it much more bearable. This property was conveniently located near where we had to go, and the front desk staff was very knowledgeable about the area and how to get to where we were going. They also had excellent recommendations about the local restaurants. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to the Milwaukee area. October 16, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Property is going downhill My wife and I were extremely disappointed during our 5 night stay at this location. We have been using it because of the close proximitry to everything, especially my Wauwatosa office, so we would like to continue our sponsor ship, but right now that is highly unlikely. Toilet bowls were dirty, shower curtain was ripped, the heater didn't work properly and several nights the tempature dipped well into the 40's, The front desk could never get our reservation correct, (they had us checking out, so our room was not cleaned), and the front desk was very rude to my wife! At this rate, this property will soon be rented out on an "hourly" basis, and let's hope it does not come to that! Rosie who runs the food service is probably the best employee, she does her job well. I hope the owners read this, and I hope this will insite a positive correction to a property that's going downhill. October 15, 2012
