Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room and breakfast. On the first day of our stay, our room was not cleaned or made up. Someone had been in it as the dirty towels had been removed but they did not finish the job. When I brought this to the attention of the night front desk, they simply asked if I would like clean sheets and towels (to be handed to me). I then talked to the desk clerk the next morning (she was very apologetic) and from then on things were fine. We stay at HIEs FREQUENTLY in large part due to their breakfast. However, these have recently been going down hill. At this particular establishment, it was the same breakfast every morning with no variety. There was no fruit cocktail, the food (omelettes, bagels, biscuits) was cold and, therefore, hard. There were no tongs to pick the bread up with. Disappointing. We stayed at several other Holiday Inn Expresses on this trip and all of their breakfasts were better. Not great but better. February 13, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Workout Room Evaluation The staff is so kind, professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The workout room is sub-par, compared to other hotels of the same price/quality. The treadmills are low-quality, there are no free weights or workout mats. It's hot (I've stayed there several times) and although staff will change the temperature, they have to be contacted (rather than keeping the room at a comfortable temperature.) They are about $20 more per night, so this is definitely a consideration for me- I'll stay elsewhere for a better workout and better price. January 31, 2015

Nice rooms Huge Suites Breakfast fills the hole for free. We have stayed here before and returned again Looking forward to staying with this fine staff again January 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Xmas Holiday Dec 23 arrived, acknowledged by staff of being gold members, assigned to suite 211 and found everything good as usual. We stay here at least 4 to 5 times a year for our family resides in Waxahachie, Tx. Next day things went down hill, all HD channels went out on TV and stayed out for our three day stay,we left hotel about mid morning and retuned about 9 pm and found our room not even touched by housekeeping and note on floor stating that door had do not disturb, secondary lock in place and we had requested not to have service given to front desk. Took note to front desk and inquired what happened and note was not true, had to request towels. Next am left mid morning with housekeeping cart right outside our door and figured everything would be fine. Not touched again. Was entered and towels picked up. Trash not removed, no new towels, no toilet paper, bed not made. Had to once again get clean towels, shampoo and soap from front desk. Hotel manager said would review tapes and address issue but blamed it on having new help. We will stay here again and give them a second chance, already made dates for 2015. December 31, 2014
