Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly night person We live in Ennis,Texas.There was a severe storm ,a very large tree fell at our house and ripped the meter box off the wall electricity...the electricity was off in most of Ennis so we called Holiday Inn in Waxahachie;they said they had electricity .there was 6 of us and he said he had plenty of space for us...He was so very nice ,we looked liked drowned rats.He got us checked -in and to our room quickly.... Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by clean and friendly The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful ,that being said -The appearance of 2 of the 3 left something to be desired, they were dressed like Saturday morning runners-baseball cap, unbrushed hair, hoodies,maybe they have other jobs in the hotel. The hot potions of the buffet were not very warm and not very good which surprised me. Never saw who was working the buffet-maybe it was the front desk people. I would stay there again though May 9, 2015

The only down side was that the room must have been a former smoking room. It was vaguely evident upon entry, but after a few minutes, is was less noticeable. May 6, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average Hotel Average Hotel. Room rates are high for the area and Hotel facilities. Overcharge error by Hotel staff. Manager was very professional handling discrepancy and adjusted bill. Found food (fries) under leg rest furniture. No safe was available to secure valuables. Average breakfast menu. April 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff and Service Overall staff and service was excellent! The staff (Curtis) was able to recommend good locations in the area to hike and site see. All employees were very friendly, the rooms were clean and overall sleep quality was very good because the hotel was quiet by late evening. The WiFi is a bit slow, and the rating would have received 5 stars if it wasn't for the WiFi. April 22, 2015
