Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Waynesboro Holiday Inn Express I stay at many hotels during the year including other Holiday Inns. I stay at this particular Inn many times and think it is the most well managed of any of them. The staff is helpful and conscientious and the building and rooms are well maintained. The rooms are clean and the breakfast bar is well stocked and clean. January 19, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Update facility pool and spa was OUT for entire week I stayed...Breakfast was ok...every day I was there I had to walk around breakfast staff...kind of weird...felt like they were trying to fend me off from the extra muffin! lol...need to finish work or post on site. I would have gone up the road. Great staff at desk all around. Like a lot of hotels, night 1 is great, then you are treated like family that has stayed too long after that!. My ice bucket never got a plastic liner nites 2-5. I drank tea but it was not replenished...I would be miles better off if I changed hotels each nite. Little things...big difference. I will be back, but will call ahead to see if the supposed amenities are for real. January 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for Amenities and Great Staff Overall experience was very positive. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast, when compared to other HIE hotels, was pretty good. Lots to choose from. The only negative comment was that the computers in the business center do NOT have Microsoft products, so I could not print out an important document I needed to that was in MS Word. Not enough of an issue, though, to keep me away from staying here or any other HIE. January 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pool and hot tub are closed indefinitely Booked this hotel for short ski trip to Wintergreen, primarily for the fact that is has an indoor pool and hot tub. Arrived to find that both are closed for reconstruction. No effort made to mention this on their website or at any point during the booking process, which is totally inexcusable. I can forgive being closed for a day or two here or there, but this appears to be a longer term project. Front desk was not particularly welcoming at check in and spoke poor English. Breakfast was good and staff manning the breakfast were friendly and helpful. January 5, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed, clean room,, great service I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The location is easy off easy on access to I-64. Room was clean. Everything worked as it should. I do have one issue. This hotel STILL has rooms available for smokers. Those rooms are only on the 3rd floor. I asked to be on any floor other than the 3rd. I was put on the 1st floor. Great. But as I approached my room, I smelled cigarette smoke!!! The only way this can be avoided is to become a smoke free hotel. Why is this particular hotel not a smoke free hotel? I travel and always use the Holiday Inn chain. I honestly don't know of another hotel I have stayed at that is not smoke free. I will not stay here again until I know this policy has changed. December 24, 2014
