Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and good location Front desk personnel very friendly. Good value for the price paid. Pool is nice, good complete breakfast, complimentary newspaper. I staid at the 2 queen bed suite and the room was ample with a sofa and table. Good location as you are between McAllen and Harlingen, close to shops and has a nice restaurant next to the hotel. Two, a clean room. Three, a great bed. Fourth, WIFI. And finally the deal breaker; great customer service. This place had it ALL! I was totally impressed! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Only one problem kept the overall at 4.5 I get up each morning at 5 and put in 5 K on the thread mill and it threw the breaker on the machine 4 times before I gave up and went back to the room. The other thread mill was in use. Otherwise a great stay. June 8, 2014

All staff are extremely courteous, friendly and willing to help out, The front desk person knew we were there for funeral and stated if they could do anything to help to let them know. They also reminded us that tney would assist us if we needed to extend our stay. This hotel has become our home away from home. Thank you for all you do May 19, 2014

The staff is first class, rooms are always clean and ready, breakfast is great and choices of close by restaurants is good; and the hotel's location can not be beat. Only improvement I would suggest is to consider shanpooing and or steam cleaning the carpeted hallways once a week or a minimum of twice a month. to keep the hallways on the third floor smelling clean / fresh. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty sheets! I stayed here for business because it was the closest hotel to where I needed to be in the morning. Check in was fine, room was okay. Beds were like laying in a hole, very hard on the edge and sunk in about a foot in the middle. I had two queen beds, both were like this. The worst was the dirty sheets, actually brown in the middle (picture attached). I've attached a picture, but it's hard to tell. I slept in my pants & t-shirt. I will not stay here again. Beginning with the professional front desk team (Vannie and Gabbie) to a very professional and caring team that keeps the rooms and property very clean and comfortable with exemplary dedication from Diane G makes for a great stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Great hotel! Nice new furnishings, micro fridge in room, good thick towels and CLEAN. Bed and pillows were comfortable; area was quiet. Excellent hot breakfast with lots of verity. Everyone who works there was very nice and accommodating. Easy to get to, right off the freeway. Will definitely be back February 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean & Inviting Stayed two nights in October 2013 for business. I rarely stay at a Holiday Inn Express, and this was my first time in Weslaco. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly, the hotel felt and smelled clean, and the breakfast was amazing. When I'm back in this area of the valley for work, I will return to Holiday Inn Express Weslaco. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Check in Front desk staff have always been extremely competent, especially "Gabino," however, this last check-in, a new front desk clerk handed me my room key and the envelope it comes in, opened it in front of another guest (a stranger to me), personally identified me by name and showed me my room number and displayed it so that the stranger could also see my name and room number --- this was highly offensive to me as this information is between me and your company staff only, not complete unknown strangers January 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Business & Family Visit Trip My family was here for 5 nights this past Christmas. I had to work the whole week, while my family was there to visit relative. The room was cleaned better this time. The house-keeping staff was nice. I had some quiet time to work during the day, but they need to improve their internet quality if they want more customer who are there for work/business. The internet speed was good when it's available, though there was time the internet was down for at least half a day, which caused me to leave the hotel to find another place that has internet to work. The front-desk staffs need to be trained better on how to handle guest's questions and concerns. I had both bad (rude) and good experiences with the front-desk attendants. I got to say the manager this time was very attentive; he would watch for guest needs during breakfast hours, making conversation and very friendly. It's Christmas / Holiday season but all they had was some stocking for the staffs on the wall; and a small Christmas Tree in the lobby. Not much of a holiday feel / vibe. Overall experience was an average, though much better than the last time. December 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Electrict plan for emergencies We had a probem in dec 20th because the hotel didn't have electricity and we couldn't see the way to get in, also in the parking place there aren't any emergency lights to see the door and no transport to carry lugage. and we had to carry all the shoping bags by the stairs and made 4 or 5 trips. I suggest you to have an Electricity plant for this ocations or if you have one get a better one. Although we were happy with the food, room and all your service that was excelent, specially the manager inspection on the breakfast, but I suggest that you check the elevator and the people who enters to the hotel because a drunk person left a mess on the elevator.
