Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ok, but not what I expect from Holiday Inn Express I stay at Holiday Inn Express because I can usually count on them to clean, updated, and consistent service. This hotel is simply ok, and not what I've come to expect from Holiday Inn. The hotel could use some updated carpet and there is a somewhat musty lingering odor. Similar the odor left when someone that was smoking walks past you. December 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service The hotel is older, but well-maintained and mostly up-to-date. The best part of staying at this hotel is by far the staff. We had a long drive to West Chester that was delayed by weather and work-related issues. One phone call to the front desk is all it took to guarantee that our room would be held as late as necessary. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and courteous. We stayed in room 201, which is a room with a jacuzzi tub. The jacuzzi tub was a novelty at best. I am not a fan of tubs in general. It was nice to have a large shower area, but the curtain doesn't go around the entire area, so you end up being a bit cold while you're in the shower. Personally, I wouldn't choose the jacuzzi room again. I really only selected it this time because it was an excellent deal. The room was spacious and came with a small fridge that actually had a working freezer area (usually those don't work), a coffee maker, and a microwave, all in excellent shape. The bed is hard as a rock and not super comfortable, but I will take that over a bed that's too old and dipping in the middle any day. Overall, the stay was excellent and I would do it again. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by November 2014 The front desk person was overwhelmed by guests checking in. We were in a second floor room with no elevator had to drag bags up the stairs. No workout room, it's in Ohio and winter you must have an exercise room for guests. After check-in we moved a dirty looking chair in the room and found a previous guests bra so we assumed the room was not cleaned very well. We were there for a funeral and the weather dictated that we stayed there, so we just had to suck it up and stay. Not what I expect for a Holiday Inn Express... November 28, 2014

I travel quite a bit for my work, and I always feel like I am at home when I settle in for the evening to recharge for the next day. Thanks for your hard work in making your properties meet a high standard. As always your property was no exception! I'm looking forward to my next stay, maybe it will be for vacation soon!
