The service was professional and accommodating. The lobby, hallways, rooms were very clean! The location is great with easy access to roads to travel from place to place, restaurants and shopping. The parking lot is a good size and is well lit in the evenings. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Overall, our experience was okay except that next time, I will ask to be put on any other floor than the first. It was VERY noisy, with adults and kids running down the hall late at night and very early in the morning - with no regard to people sleeping.
For the price we paid for our rooms, I am giving an overall rating of only Fair. I would be hopeful that my rating would have been higher had we been on a floor other than Floor 1.

Poor room lighting, poor quality toilet paper (like Russian, but worse)
Tail Gate picnics in car park were bizzare and made one uncomfortable about safety of cars in parking lot.

I really was impressed with the accommodations. An extra added bonus is that there was a jacuzzi in our room. The only draw back was that the bathroom sink has no way to raise and lower the sink plunger. I pushed it in to hold water in the sink, but could not re open it, so we had a sink full of water for one day. Other than that, our stay was comfortable and relaxing.

Girl at Check In was not the friendliest girl, I had to ask about the breakfast and times. I also asked about restaurants in the area and also not very helpful,or friendliy.Every answer was like she was going out of her way to answer.

From the moment AP checked us in to the time we checked out our experience was wonderful. Our suite was fit for a king and everything was provided for us. The hotel was very quiet and beds were comfortable. We would definitely satay there again .

Stayed in this hotel twice. As a platinum memeber of the hotel chain, this is the worst receiptist I have ever seen. The While blond girl (didn't even wear a name tag), she seemed very unhappy with her job and thus the guests. She had never greeted customers, so rude, and gave me a room right next to elevator although my profile says "away from elevator, quiet room please." The hotel manager refused for early check-in although it was only one hour early check-in saying no room was ready yet. If Platinum member got this service then I even don't want to imagine about other customers. This hotel need a serious check-up for customer service and staff training.

The location was great right off of Wilmington Pike, and the room was spacious.
However, the biggest disappointment was in the bathroom. The shower drain was completely stopped up; I had just used the fitness room on the night of my arrival (which was very cramped with inadequate cooling) and came back to my room to shower. It did not drain at all (with the plug pulled all the way up/open), so I had a miserable shower, turning the water on and off intermittently so that the tub did not overflow and having to stand in bathwater up to my calves. The sink was also clogged, which was a nuisance. Overall, I would have had a much better stay if the bathroom facilities would have been functioning properly - the hotel definitely needs to do some maintenance on the room to ensure that other guests are not as dissatisfied with their stay as I was.

Our stay was just one night and our needs were minimal, however, we were pleased to find that there was a little shop with sundries and frozen food items so we could purchase a frozen dinner to heat in the microwave. After a long drive and late night arrival, it was nice to be able to zap a quick dinner.
Having breakfast at the hotel meant we didn't have to rush before attending a funeral. I have had breakfast at other Holiday Inn Express properties, but it isn't noted on the website as available here. Glad to find that yogurt and fruit were available for a healthy start to the day, in addition to other options.
Posting the microwave and breakfast amenities to the website would be helpful to other travelers.

We stayed here for six nights and have nothing but praise for this Inn. The entire staff was very pleasant and courteous, and very welcoming. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed our daily breakfasts which were well prepared and were a little different every day. Thank you everyone for a very pleasant stay!

Room had old fashion a/c unit which would randomly cycle on and off at 3 sec intervals during the night. How expensive is a thermostat? No thanks or acknowledgement of priority club membership. Was called at 11:02 because we were 2 mins late checking out.

Staff seemed entitled to a job of watching movies on ipad, not to be inconvenienced with checking in guests. No acknowledgement of Priority Club membership or even a thanks for choosing them.
